I have been playing ww barb from start and now further in the game I started to feel quite squishy, so I looked on icy veins guide for example, and as one of the stats they prioritize on chest/pants and gems in armor slots is Damage reduction while fortified. Does that work anytime you have any amount of fortify, or do you have to be “fully” fortified (having this gray armor around health bar)? Bcs I very rarely manage to get fully fortified, even when following their build. Does that comes mainly from Temerity uniqe, as those are endgame builds (I dont have it yet) Or how you manage to get fully fortified? Do I miss something? (Im level 72)
You get no benefit until you are ‘fortified’. Here is my video explaining the system:
