You’ve been making games for Decades, yet still can’t get it right. I’m doing the new season and got to story Pyro boss. 1-Shot kills are BS, especially at a boss you can’t skip or even (leave dungeon/teleport) out from. So now all my gear is broken and there is NO WAY OUT to repair. The only thing you can do is EXIT GAME and then you get transported back to town. This is unacceptable at this point in development. Was there NO Testing prior to releasing this update other than nerf/nerf/nerf/ buff crap/ nerf… If this is your idea of FUN, you are sadly mistaken.

Is that the new complain type?
Did you update a bit your gear as you were leveling, did you do some tempering ( just the damage one ) on your gear , did you bother puting some powers on your piece , did you upgrade a bit your first horadric power? 
did you put 5 points in a core ability , did you get a few defensive abilities , did you actually put all your skill points?
did you equip the highest Ipower weapon you came upon :o
I mean… did you play? =p

It’s literally the first seasonal questline boss, which you want to do as soon as possible so you can get to the reputation board and get your first horadric power. So I ask, did you play?

No, this is a note about the stupidity of the developers. What’s next? Let’s make AoE one-shot attacks on 95% of the game area for all mobs? That will make the game more interesting, right?
Yeah , I’ve killed it a few times without much problems on hard
I’m level 32 now i think 
I think there is a difficulty level under hard , that you can switch on statues in game
Actually you can’t in this case, because that involves leaving the strongroom/NMD with no way to get back to it without starting a new character soooo.

Having NO WAY OUT to repair is the issue. Getting 1-shot killed sucks, but having 0/100 gear cause of dying to cheap mechanics is BS

But yeah, some clown at Blizzard has listened to the streamers and tryhards and thinks the game should be hARdeR.

I mean, i guess, you could always create a new char , and wait a little bit more before going into that seasonal quest ;p but eh

I think I was level 8, but I gave up and just started a new character on Normal lol. It’s like 15 minutes extra.
Now, I’m curious if it will be as difficult on Normal , my feelings tells me nope ;p
The boss can still 1 shot you even on normal… if you’re using a slow character, you’re gonna die a lot

Yes this design is awful. I got absolutely annihilated on this first story boss, couldn’t repair or port so had to quit the game. Changed to expert. Everything was easy until the one shot boss. Just had to quit a second time to change difficulty again so Im coming here to complain. And sounds like I might get walloped on normal, too.
I am a strong player, part of the issue is that if this is intended to be the first thing you do, your equipment sucks hard. Im level 16 with like one rare, blues and a couple whites (and was playing in penitent). I have like 42 armor, its punishing.

I died my first attempt. Did it on second attempt without making a new character…

Yeah, it’s called the boss damage is way out of wack on hard if you try it on a basically brand new character. I don’t have the patience for this BS right out of the gate so just re-rolled.
Some builds just simply cannot deal with a hard hitting melee at lvl 12. melee is…not fun. esp if 99% of your defense is tied to movement skills ( that you have no scaled at all, or defensive aspects ( at lvl 12 lol )

Or maybe just not start at hard level with a brand new character. Why? Leveling is super fast even on normal mode. Just wait until you get geared up a bit before hitting that mode. Can’t blame developers for making a boss hard on hard mode.
