Wtb stable servers, offering exploit dropped shako

Imagine if Blizz invested 1/10 of the resources into server stability as they do into ensuring Uniques dont drop.

I have not encountered instability in the D4 servers.

It might be something in your PC, in your home network, in your ISP, or even somewhere between Blizzard and your ISP.

If 9000000000 other people werent having random issues with their game, I would assume it was my pc but ive ruled that out at this point.

Does this game even have 9 billion players

they don’t have to invest on it. once season starts, most players who bought for the eternal realm will leave until next expansion. they made their calculations (they have all stats after 10 yrs of d3), if they opted for an identical model, they know the implications and numbers. and those numbers must tell them they can save their money for servers, as soon they will be more than enough to support the seasonal players only.

These 142 lucky players are living rent free in the minds of everyone who has a grievance about this game. Never seen anything quite like it.

I’ve had a lot of issues with the game, but none of them were related to connection issues on Blizzard’s end, aside from a DDoS, which isn’t really their fault either.

You don’t know how scalability works. Not every problem can be fixed by throwing more money at servers.

My mistake almighty lord of the White Knights.

Feel free to ask anyone who’s actually worked on something that needs to scale.

I’m not sure who is at fault but on a brand new gaming PC with relatively high end specs, a stable ethernet / fibre connection, I am getting almost unplayable lag, rubber banding, stutters, freezes, 15 second pauses then come back to dead, disconnects, and more, only on Diablo 4. I suspect that the cause is more likely not on my side since any other game runs perfectly.

There aren’t even 9 billion humans alive on Earth. Hyperbole for the lose.

I’m curious what server instability are you seeing? I get the memory leak issue a bit and some lag in pvp areas from time to time, but outside of that the servers have been quite stable.

They have that many pairs of knee pads for you to go through in your sessions with Blizzard though.

White knighting for blizzard? Look at my post history. I’m surprised a mod hasn’t shut me down yet, (they did for a few days). I’m far from it, the OP mentioned the shako situation which has to do with players (you lack context and reading comprehension skills). The only one who needs to wipe the white stuff off their lips and the chetooh crumbs are you basement dwellers that come here with your mouth breathing statements. All this biaching about something new every single day.

In the minds of many, either you hate Blizzard with every fiber of your being … or you’re a White Knight paid shill with Blizzard-branded kneepads and a reduced gag reflex.

There is no middle ground.
