Just killed Ashava at level 70 on WT4. It dropped a cache that requires level 80 to open? Understand that you boosted the world boss level in the hotfix today. However, WT4 drops level 70 gear, the capstone is a level 70 dungeon with a level 70 boss. So, why would the world boss drop a cache that requires 80 to open but drops level 70 gear?
I am CERTAINLY not going to drop down to WT3 and skip out on the chance to receive ancestral gear from the World Boss if the DEV team’s intentions.
Just attempted Ashava on world tier 4 with me being the only level 70+ in the zone. We couldn’t kill her because she is a flat level 90 now. Does blizzard intent to scale the world bosses way past the level of the tier?
Is it your plan to stay at lvl 70 forever?

I would report it as a bug. After all, one would think that Blizzard should know that the first thing I am doing in going after Ashava.
While that is a solution. Why would a cache that drops level 70 (Max level) gear, require you to be level 80 to open?
Why do enemies drop gear that is 7 levels below you?
Probably to inflate difficulty.
Ancestral is just a name dude it’s no better then the regular drops sacred and ancestral are gimmicks atm but maybe will be better eventually

I just got a level 80 cache as well and im level 66. -_-
I bet its full of flowers, like the side quest ones.
I also just got one of those “requires level 80”. We are all low 70s and we kill the boss within 2 minutes tops. Why would it require level 80? Sigh
probably bug. they “forgot” it after adjust the level of the boss.
Okay, flat out wrong.
Sacred literally has around a 30-40% stat boost to its bases (armor and damage, the stuff at the top.) Plus an entire new set of affixes that start to roll on them.
See this is who thinks their opinion matters. Someone who literally doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
Just another reminder that opinions are like buttholes, we all have them but it doesn’t mean you whip it out all the time. Sometimes yours is just wrong and yes opinions can be factually incorrect.

What the hell is with the lock on the cache??
i have two now… it probably will have gear inside that is useless when im 80.
They had to make sure that people had something to complain about.
My boss caches are level 82 since i killed the boss during helltides, which is 2 levels higher (boss was 92).
Then they give you 4 stash slots, that are account wide, not individual. So you have to hold onto this item for probably 40-50 hours of playing time until you can unlock it.
Any update on this fix or will they adjust the item level to when you open the cache?
If not i guess I’ll get 3 and if I’m not 80 by next week I’ll do bosses on t3 so i can open the cache.
still the same, killed the wt4 boss got lvl 80 cache and i am 63.
wt3 boss dropps like lvl 56 stuff.
