Would you play Diablo 4 with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650?

Hi there,
I’ve already asked this question about my new GeForce RTX 3060 TWIN EDGE 12GB ZOTAC, however; my PC Power Supply (650W) won’t support it…
So, would you even consider playing Diablo 4 with the mentioned GPU?
Or should I wait, buy a new Power Supply and then begin?
Thanks.

Do you already own the 1650? If so you could try it as long as you’re at 1080 you’re probably fine. If you don’t have the 1650 already and are gonna buy something anyways then I’d definitely buy the psu cause you’re gonna need a higher watt one in the future anyways.

Edit-just looked up wattage and you should be able to run the 3060 on a 650w psu. What is the tpd on your cpu?

I’m running it on a 1650 super.

Yes, I already own the 1650.
Is the jump from 1080 to 4K in Diablo 4 really noticeable?

I would run the 3060 at 1440p. Have you tried the 3060 on the 650w psu? It should work unless you have a monster cpu

Yeah I tried…
CPU: Intel Core i9 9900K @ 3.60GHz.

This game has really very chill GPU requirements and you should be able to turn settings down to the point that it runs well and still is playable look wise.

I think you have to be more specific as to what settings you want to play under. Rather than asking if D4 will run with the GPU.

I play Diablo 4 just fine with an Nvidia Geforce 1060…

I have a 1070 Ti and it runs smooth so far in 1080p.

A 650w psu should be able to power a 3060 and a i9-9900k. Are you overclocking anything? Maybe the psu is bad?

I’m running it on a NVIDIA GTX 1650 - same pc I used for Closed Beta and all the open betas & Server Slam. Have had no issues I am aware of due to GPU/graphics card. It may not be ideal but it’s what is in my machine for now.

I just ran across this looking for optimizations so feel free to have a look. The game still has hiccups but I feel they are server side and not GPU/CPU problems. Could even be some Internet miscommunications between servers and my IP.

Personally, I haven’t tried this yet and not sure I will. From my understanding the 1650 and the 1650 Super have less than or equals to 4gb VRAM which means the textures should be on the lowest but this guide says to set them to medium. Unless something has changed since Beta 1650’s should be set to lowest textures due to the limited VRAM.

Not sure if this helps or not but figured I’d post it any way. Good luck.

I can happily report that the games runs in 1080
Thank you very much for making this happen!

Glad to hear it. I wasn’t sure it’d work but figured I’d post it incase it did.

Happy gaming man.

I have a 1660 with 550W PS

I don’t have any issues and my setting defaulted at like 75%

I haven’t tried maxing out all the settings because I’m happy where its at, it looks good.
