It’s absurd that if you aren’t at the world boss before it spawns in WT4, it’s dead in every shard by 20 seconds after the spawn timer. There needs to be some system to create a phase on demand for a period after the timer ends. Make the loot account-wide if you must, but it’s completely trash to get to the world boss within seconds after the timer ends and find a corpse with no opportunity AT ALL to get a kill that 3.5 hour window.

The issue is we’re stuck in a shared world. Just be glad there’s more than one World Boss at the timer. The servers can only create new rooms when there’s too many people there. Not when there’s no one in the zone. Which happens when the World Boss is dead.
If the spawn timers are off by 30 seconds, it’s one thing, but I don’t think that’s the case in this day and age.
The systems should always be calibrated to a central source, this isn’t the 2000’s.

I want private instances of world boss fights. I’m tired of it dieing in less time then it takes to do it’s ,“I’m here and I’m a badass” arrival animation.

Agreed, if I can’t afford to pay attention to the timer and be there at least 5 minutes before it spawns Blizzard should compensate by punishing those who were actually there and waiting.
Why should they get the opportunity to kill the boss in record time because they just happened to be waiting for it to spawn? The audacity of these people.
I can’t be bothered to look at the map and see the timer, or use a third party website that screams at me when it’s about to spawn, or use my iPhone, third party program, egg timer, website, or 5 year old child that somehow can tell time better then a grown adult. Seriously blizzard? What kind of clown show are you running.
Make this change now.

The spawn timer is on point. I’m saying there’s no new World Boss created because all the other rooms are full. TC issue is coming going to the zone when World Boss can’t spawn anymore because other players took all the slots.

Oh that’s a bug, btw, I didn’t know about it until later, but you are supposed to rezone until the world boss icon shows up.

Sorry for jumping down your shirts. BTW I come from a culture where being 1 to 2 hours late is normal, so it’s been a life long struggle to be on time. My brother who went to the marines, got this fixed in the first week with negative reinforcement.

world bosses get a marker with a timer on the map 1 HOUR before they spawn, how much more heads up do you need?
im not a fan of the 3,5h reset, that could be faster since timegating things sucks, but seriously, if you miss the boss when it has a 1 hour timer, that’s on you.

For me it’s my blind bad luck that when I log in for my 30-60min session that I get every second/third day I almost always see the “world boss spawning in x location soon” only to open 3rd party site and see the spawn timer is at 3hr 24min or similar
I don’t plan around timers cause life>entertainment in prio list but it would be nice to be able to do a wb, grab a steel chest, run a duriel maybe upgrade a glyph, sort some stash and log whenever I fire the game up, as opposed to going awww, what bad luck log out

“world boss spawning soon” alert means you have 15 minutes left. Open the game map, it clearly shows where the spawn is and how long you have.

The world boss icon comes up 40 minutes before it spawns and it stays there with a timer… + they put up a notification above your screen about 10 minutes before spawn
Idk how many warnings you want. Just don’t be late I guess
The only thing Blizz needs to do is put an on-screen countdown timer on the ui (outside the boss room).
