There has been a lot of times recently and in past seasons where I log in and the game says that a World Boss in spawning soon on a certain region, but when I open the map there is no timer for any timer at all, or there is for realm walker / legion event but not for world boss
Then i go to helltides . com or maxroll . gg and see that the world boss timer still has 1-3 hours remaining until it spawns
While this usually happens when I log in, other times it happens when teleporting between different zones. This has been happening for multiple seasons, so why doesn’t you Blizzard pay attention to details like this? if many people don’t report this because it is a small thing it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fixed

Yeah, I often get them when I port to town from a dungeon run or something and they are several minutes late. I actually haven’t done a single WB this season as I actually haven’t seen one whilst I’ve been playing 
The same problem is on consoles too. In fact I don’t remember those notifications ever having worked properly so I just ignore them.
To see the accurate timers for legion events / world bosses / real walkers, we need to go into the main map (the one that shows all the regions). Inside dungeons those timers do not show
I also recommend using helltides . com and next to the green sliders for “World Boss”
“Legion” and “Realmalker” there is a “settings” button to set timers for visual notifications and choosing sounds for them. You can also configure the volume
Also, back on the main purpose of this post, Blizzard should fix those notifications and make them work properly, how hard can it be? … why aren’t they working properly for MULTIPLE SEASONS? SIGH…
This is an issue since forever and I never saw it work properly - even not having this false notification would improve the overall experience.
I guess some message queue gets flooded and cannot process on time - maybe increasing the definition of “soon” would at least partially mitigate the issue…?

And world bosses spots in the global map is still bugged, sometimes it doesn’t show, and we have to rely in third party sites to find them.
