It says “Rain of Arrows is always imbued with all imbuements at once”
So do you need to have points in the imbuements?
Does having more points in the imbuements do more damage?
Does it pick up the effects added to imbuements via other skills?
I’ve got a spare shako laying around and a 4GA flickerstep so I thought about putting some kind of heatseeker/rain of arrows build together for the anniversary event.
This amulet gives you +1-2 to all imbuements anyway, so you don’t need any points.
More points gives more damage to shadow and especially to poison. Ice is just chilling effect, so it’s not worth adding points there.

Not worth ivesting in that Amylet as it gives too much up. You can make Death Trap work though withbyour HS.
To have a proper benefit, you need to get Mixed Shadow and Mixed Cold Imbuement + Blended Poison Imbuement: this means an huge investment of 9 skill points without a proper return from it.
But for the common issues related to any Ultimate (no extra ranks) and RoA, in terms of animation and skill tree specialisations, the problem is that in S4, but for being fun, the new itemization is just partially developed. A rework on paragon boards, nodes and uniques is required.
Without tempering, the majority of uniques are weak, but for few.
Dmg wise, what WoH and RoA is missing is a proper source of multiplicative damage and/or utility - functioning.
The huge additive damage for Roa with tempering doesn’t work with the Legendary node No Witnesses, that as node should require an a lot higher bonus since Ultimate dmg sources are limited.
On top of it there is no contest with a normal legendary amulet because of the same issue.
The unique power itself requires something else in terms of multiplicative dmg or at least defense, otherwise a first workaround could be to replace Mov. speed with Frigid Finesse.
Mixed Shadow, Cold imb. and Blended Poison by default I doubt is doable.
With the other reworks still required, another option is to get rid of its unique status and return it to be just an aspect, as it was long ago.

It’s going to be a real bummer if I can’t make this work at least sorta kinda.
Putting plus chance for extra arrow waves on everything possible is a bit silly, I’ve had it go to five waves a few times already.
Considering I’m going to make it a partial basic build that I’m going to TRY not to use victimize adds more difficulty.
I was trying to get it to work with blood boil for crit overpower since even with my half-assed build still being put together I can reliably get RoA every twentyish seconds. Lack of any warning on when the overpower is going to be ready killed that idea. I was able to make it work in the stress free environment of the training room but tracking it in combat was impossible.
Oh well, Ill keep trying cuz why not.
Good luck…I hooe you find success, but what your saying to me is that your about to make a build that does like no damage. Just outting it out there before you soend hours theorycrafting. But hey maybe youll find something i dont see.
I can understand you.
Nonetheless, in fact, I still play with it.
