Wolfpack and cosmetics items

Hello everyone

What are the chances that Blizzard will allow access to the Wolfpack cosmetic item from the beta for players who could not play for various reasons?

Any chance of finding something similar or other cosmetic items for purchase in the Diablo 4 store after launch?

I don’t understand why the cosmetic items interest me, even though they are for beauty and don’t affect the gameplay.

Have a nice day :slightly_smiling_face:

Wouldn’t count on it.

Not that one, but I am sure there will be plenty of other nice cosmetics which you might like in the shop

Unfortunately, this cosmetics will likely not be available for purchase.
There might be better skins though so just wait until Blizzard release the cosmetics stuff.

Blizzard is not likely to ever do that. It was an exclusive bonus item for participating in the Open Beta.

As Altair said though, there are going to be many cosmetic items over the years. Promotions, in-game activities, Achievements, Seasons, Battlepass, and shop.

Probably, but Blizzard tends to do a lot of recolor cosmetics. At some point, there might be a different colored Wolf Pup that you can get.

I do hope that one remains exclusive as a testament of the players that took part in the Beta testing.

Unlikely that particular item will come up through other means. Saying that though I think it was ESO that released a pet for their Steam launch that was very similar to one obtainable during the game’s initial non steam pre order or beta period (I can’t quite remember). Anyway the forum rage was real with people threatening to quit the game in typical well-balanced MMORPG player style.

There will likely be something similar (so a pet backpack) available in the cash shop or via achievement at some point but it will have some differences

I understand that this particular item is lost on me but remain optimistic about other cosmetic items to purchase later. Thanks for the replies guys.

If you were able to rally a few thousand posters to back this idea for a few weeks, it is possible.

I was a witness years ago when the D3 Dev team announced “the Primal” for the very first time.
Then I saw an excellent idea go into the toilet and come out ruined because one big streamer along with thousands of forum sycophants posted non stop for days making thousands upon thousands of posts that this primal idea would ruin the game.

This was when I realized not to trust anything you see on the forum and certainly not follow any streamer’s ideas of right and wrong.

I get what you are saying, and I did earn it myself, but personally I hate time gated stuff like that. I much prefer everything be earnable in the game whenever you feel like doing it.

I’m afraid that the answer to this is that it won’t. Ultimately the Wolfpack is tied to the achievements in open beta, get to town/level 20 and they are tied to your battle.net account.

What you might be able to get from the store though if you are lucky is a reskinned version. For example if the beta achievement one is of a grey wolf pup back pack, then the store may sell a black and or red wolf one or a kitten one and this is far more likely.

It will be the same with the season pass cosmetics. The ones earned at season pass levels probably won’t be available in store but re-colours instead. Brings in more money.

It’s also something, but I don’t see any point in spending the energy on it

In general, the chance that Blizzard will respond to the issue is zero, although I would be happy for one last chance.
