After 1.5.2 patch Diablo 4 on Steam states it’s a trial version and won’t let me enter the game unless purchase it again.

Just got this same issue. Have the receipt from steam showing that I bought it. Does anyone know if this has happened in the past and what the fix might be? For more info I did get it as a trial back in Nov 2023, but bought it this last June when it was on sale.

It looks like Probably they cheated us all and stole our money ! they collected 80 euros for pre-order and took away the license ) this is a very original move. Shame to release an update to the game without testing it !

Same issue here, Diablo Updated today and now its telling me it is a trial version

As an update… the trial level restriction has been lifted. I can log in now and play. Do think I’m still a “trial” account so I can’t chat, group and trade like a paid user… Though I already paid but at least I can log in now.
