Necromancer is NOT OP you just don’t know the class. We have to stack 10,000 items of highly optimized gear, and farm for 10 years to get those type of items. You don’t know what you’re talking about and are projecting your insecurities on others. Barbs are just mad because their class got gutted and now they want ALL CLASSES to be bad.
Plus most barbs are just BAD AT THE GAME, they don’t know how to play and blame it on NECRO.
You mean like every other class? And I have a 100 bone necro, 100 shadow necro, 100 barb and 100 druid. Druid and Bone Necro > Shadow and Barb by a long shot.
Bone necro is super easy to build and super easy to play.
No it’s NOT, you’re just projecting your PROBLEMS on other people. Why then, as a level 91 necro, can I only crit for 1m, ocassionally 3m if my damage ramps up? You have NO IDEA what you’re talking about.
First of all will adjust expectations to more realistic scenarios, secondly will allow more options to explore provided additional balance changes in reverse, thirdly the game won’t look ridiculously busted and a joke to those that may or may not have struggled, and lastly but not the least perhaps PvP might start to work
Blizzard sorc doesn’t need a nerf, but they will probably revisit stagger damage on uber bosses. They might cap the amount of damage taken per stagger, but the build literally does zero damage outside of her stagger.
I know but they’re gonna have to figure something out… Perhaps Vulnerable applies separately from Stagger ?, but then have to do rebalance on that part so it does not reach 250-300% damage multipliers…
Because you’re doing it wrong lol. I killed Uber Lillith 2 weeks ago. If you think Bone necro is hard to play or gear then this is not the game for you lol. Out of the four lv 100 characters I have, Bone Necro is by far the easiest one to play and was very easy to gear.
Those first 2 are fair points, and thanks for actually keeping the discussion civil by the way.
I don’t think I agree on point 3, but then again I’m of the opinion that damage is relative. In D3, seeing damage numbers in the millions is just the norm. In Super Mario RPG, seeing damage numbers in the dozens is the norm. In most FF’s, damage is capped at 9,999 until you break the damage limit. It’s all relative in my book. What works is when it all stays consistent relative to itself. When you’re dishing out Disgaea-esque numbers in a Fire Emblem game, that’s silly. But when bosses have billions of HP anyway? It’s kinda meh.
PVP is a weird one though. I agree wholeheartedly that it’s FUBAR’d… but at the same time, Blizz specifically promised that it would be that way from the get-go. They’ve gone on record saying they intentionally are not balancing it. So like, yea, it’s broken, but that ironically means it’s working as intended.
I guess if Bone Spear got nerfed it’d affect Necros in PVP, but I would think they’d want to look into Bone Prison first…
Bonespear is trash in PvP…it does like 1/5th the HP bar of someone. I think it’s actually scaling properly unlike HoTA. Necro currently doesn’t have any specs that work successfully in PvP.
