[BUG REPORT] Paladin Wing Strike / Light’s Epiphany Charm Multiplier Deactivation
Title:
Wing Strike damage multiplier from Light’s Epiphany charm set drops upon instance transition, death, or level up.
System/Platform:
All Platforms
Description:
When playing a Paladin utilizing Wing Strike alongside the Light’s Epiphany charm set and Disciple Oath, the damage multiplier fails to persist through game state changes. Whenever the player transitions between zones, changes dungeon floors, levels up, or dies, the damage output drops massively (often from hundreds of billions down to a few billion). The game stops registering the damage multiplier from the charm set after a loading screen or state update.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Equip the Paladin with the Wing Strike skill, Light’s Epiphany charm set, and Disciple Oath.
- Engage enemies and verify the baseline damage output is functioning correctly.
- Trigger a state change: load into a new zone, progress to a new dungeon floor, level up, or die.
- Engage enemies again and observe the massive reduction in damage output.
Expected Result:
Charm set multipliers and overall damage output should remain active and consistent regardless of instance transitions, leveling, or dying.
Actual Result:
The damage multiplier breaks and deactivates after the transition, severely crippling the build’s damage output.
Current Workaround:
Manually unequipping and re-equipping the Disciple Oath restores the damage multiplier.
Game-Breaking Impact:
This bug renders the build completely unplayable in loadout-locked activities such as the Tower. Because gear cannot be swapped mid-run in these modes, players have no way to re-trigger the broken multiplier.
