Seeing a lot of complaints about the VoH wings being visible - I certainly have a bone to pick with them since they’re copy/pasted from Immortal and they’re ugly.
But I’m also seeing some complaints about them simply being too boring and commonplace, since D4 only has 1 wing variety now.
Solution: let the Wings we earned in D3 carry over into D4. It would be very easy to do so since the two engines are practically the same. And D3 has plenty of sweet wings. Let’s see:
- Andariel wings (relevant now more than ever!!!)
- Baal tentacles
- Trag-oul wings that took some grinding to get! they’re also pretty awesome and fit perfectly into D4 with their bloody-sinewy look
- Diablo back tentacle thingies
- Inarius wings (for those who preordered RoS back in the day)
- Tyrael wings (for those who bought D3 CE)
- Crypt Guardian wings (from Necro DLC, also gorgeous)
- Druid Seraphim wings
- Falcon wings
plus all the sweet wings from the Chinese version of D3 if you please…
I’ve deliberately omitted to mention some of the ridiculous ones like the various versions of the awful butterfly wings. All of the above fit D4 just fine. There’s nothing cartoonish about them.

Naa carry over my pets from D3 instead. I got baby diablo just chilling waiting for me, i know it
Wait how is this a solution? There has to be a problem for there to be a solution, and there is currently no problem. Now if you said ‘Suggestion’ instead of ‘Solution’ this would make more sense.

It would be cool if they gave us the diablo 3 wings.
But I think it won’t happen because of design issues, because if they do that they would have to work on a remastering for the diablo 4 engine.
It’s a solution to the ever-growing population of posts complaining about everyone waltzing around looking exactly the same with those wings.
More wings = less the same!
Good thing they’ve already figured out how to do it. As I pointed out, the VoH wings are copy/paste from Immortal. They simply changed the color.
So you think the solution to people complaining about wings in general is to add more wings, I think you highly misunderstand the issue people are having with the wings right now.
There’s an oil fire!
Ok let’s add more oil.
Wait what?

Thought you were serious there for a second. Got me good.
that they’re ugly. and they’re supposed to be growing out of your body, not coming out of those stupid gadgets strapped to your back like those stupid Immortal “wings”.
but they’re the only wings D4 has, so…add more wings. so no one in their right mind would ever use THOSE again.
it’s the same engine, just a more updated version.
The joke was funny the first time, now not so much.
Not what people are arguing about at all, but sure. Within the context of your own ‘problem’ you have definitely made a ‘solution’.
not my fault you don’t know how Blizzard operates. you didn’t really think they would create a brand new engine for every new game they make, do ya?
and who’s joking? it took me 2-3 weeks to grind for the Trag-oul wings, hunting down all those Necro-exclusive achievements. I want those wings to live on.
Wait you’re actually serious?? Blizzard said long ago D4 is using a new engine.
To be fair.
Cow level was always fun to do while “under the influence” for about 2-3 minutes of laughing.
I would have preferred more colour choices for the transmog system, allowing back trophies to be dyed as well.
Not a huge fan of the wings concept this go around, enjoyed it in d3 but thats not this game for me.
At least let us change the colour of the wings as well if this is the route they wanna go
You are suggesting a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist.
Diablo IV is fine the way it is.
Diablo III is a high fantasy game and Diablo IV isn’t.
Why ruin something that is good, if i am interested in Diablo III i’ll play that but i am not so i’ll stick to Diablo IV thank you.
Boys, the wings are here and they aren’t going anywhere. We should ask that they at least not be so …uh… small? I mean don’t get me wrong! Everybody is special and all but these wings i mean, they’re a little small, a little shall we say …impotent?
