I really regret getting the deluxe battle pass. I only spent the extra plat because of the wings but the particle effect almost never appears. I don’t know how many enemies I’m supposed to kill but the only time I’ve seen it briefly is when I’m swarmed in helltides.
Why isn’t it visible most of the time in combat Blizz? You need to make it much easier to trigger and last longer.

Sounds like it was meant to go with the Infernal Hordes since you need to kill mass hordes of enemies to get it to go off. I think that was a dumb decision design to begin with. No comsetic should have a trigger like this in my opinion. Just have it randomly go off periodically.

They don’t even explain what “reactive” means when you purchase the battlepass upgrade. I had no idea it was so lame.

Just par for the course with this game. Under promise and underdeliver even further.
Amazing.

So, wait … you spend a good amount of real life money to get a cosmetic, & then you have to do something to get the cosmetic to “work?” I mean, I get it’s going to start “working” after you do what you do anyway, but still … shouldn’t it just freekin’ work as soon as you get it?

You’d think it was made by Tesla.

              Says in game:
Wings of the Red Griffin
- Defeat enemies in succession to trigger Reactive Effects
So I mean it is working as advertised, but it’s still one of the dumbest cosmetics in my opinion. It does look cool, but in all honesty are you really paying attention to when your wings flair out in the middle of killing hordes of enemies? Maybe if you play zoomed in completely, oh wait, wait a moment…
That new bug that keeps you zoomed in, it was exactly for this cosmetic! It’s not a bug it’s a feature! Conspiracy confirmed!

I fell for this too, buying a pass just for the wings. It’s really sad to see them without the glow effect.

Ive never been a fan of the back attachments. They are so distracting and take up so much space.

It wafts when standing in town…that’s heaps more than any other set of wings.

I don’t like a lot of the bulky back attachments like the wolf pup baskets or big clunky totems but the wings are cool. They were a big thing in D3 and I like that we have some in D4.
Mine do nothing in town. Wings of the Faith and Wings of the Damned glow 100% of the time. That’s what I thought I was getting.

Mine activates all the time. As a Whirlwind barb variation with Dual Wield and 120% Attack Speed it makes me look like a BeyBlade. I do wish it lasted longer though. Maybe double the time after you stop killing monsters.

It’s better in WT4 as far as activating in combat.
