If the only difference is we get to be werewolves instead of witches and the seasonal experience is exactly the same as what you just did, are you going to do it all over again?
Same goes for season 9 if it’s just season of Frankensteins. Or do you need Blizzard to innovate these next 2 seasons? Do you need something more?
Id rather them get the base game as bug free as possible before they add more crap that can break.
New class added without an expansion which because greed is probably never going to happen. And yes I realize that companies need to make money just not unreasonable money without any return for the customer.
As long as it isn’t zombies. Zombies are so lame. What I’d really like is to play the subjective “bad guy” and have an expansion where to two collide (not necessarily in a PvP sense but of course with that as a part for the PvP folk that desire it).
I only happen to be playing this season because I had one free battlepass that I decided to use now rather than hold it for who knows why.
Next season, I’m going to look at the rewards and see if I actually want them. This season I’ve got two outfits I’ll never use (tried 'em, don’t like 'em), a bunch of random stuff like tombstones and weapons that don’t really interest me, and a very slightly cooler town portal. It could literally be just the town portal the other stuff is so meh, so it kind of feels like I got taken for a ride.
If I’m going to pay money next time, I need to know exactly what I’m getting first. In the future it’s all about whether or not I think it’s worth it. I’m going to need to see the stuff first and decide whether it’s aesthetically pleasing enough to spend a couple bucks.
I can always roll a new character (as to stay away from the blacksmith end boss) so that’ll probably happen regardless.
Sure I’ll play it, assuming I’m not busy in another game by that time. I still enjoy the game, but I’m not wasting my time grinding for the highest tier pits and the best gear either. I’ve been through this song and dance thousands of times in hundreds of games by now. When the game has more content that keeps my interest longer than the seasonal objectives, I’ll stick around and play more.
Until that time, I’ll play until I get bored and move on to another game until the next season. If I didn’t enjoy the experience what so ever, and felt it would never get better, I’d have already left the game far behind.
been doing things all over again since D2 
and i hardly ever played seasons (just playing solo and trying the runewords from last season) pretty much played all my mules to 90 and moved to a new one or play an old build i found some new gear for.
at least in D2 when you where lvl90+ there was still something too farm or you could create a new character and still farm for usefull things.
in D4, when you get past pit 75 everything else in the game is easy. so you can try and get further into the pit (but the only reward you’ll get is the satisfaction)
i also never play on eternal realm in D4. seasons at least have something new each time (every season is pretty much the same but the powers get changed and that can lead to other new builds)
and to this day i’ve never played a barb or a druid in D4 necromancer i tried once but didn’t realy invest much time into it.
so if there’s a season that is boring and i still want to play… i’ll just try barb and druid
