Just wondering how season 6 will work. Can you jump straight to the new content or will we have to play story from the beginning.
Blizzard has never made people start a Campaign from the beginning in order to do Expansion content - that I can think of. In their modern games you pick up a new quest when the expansion comes out and your character does that quest to start the new content.
If you make a brand new character, then it depends on the game. Some of Blizzard’s games let you skip campaign once you have done it on your account before. That should be the case here too.

There was a dev interview that I read yesterday and this question was specifically asked. Brent Gibson basically said something like “we have all entry and exit points covered.”
So, sounds like you will definitely be able to start a new seasonal character for season 6 and play the expansion campaign, with no need to play the base game campaign again.

They said at Blizzcon last year that you do not need to play the base game Campaign you can jump right into the VoH. They will have something in the VoH that will do some type of review of the story (lore).
