Will there be any point in Nightmare dungeons?

Will there be any point in doing Nightmare dungeons starting in S6?

Not that I particularly liked being forced to do Nightmare dungeons, but now it seems we’re being forced to do the Pit instead since Glyph upgrades will be through the Pit, which really isn’t any better.

What I’d suggest is allow the player to do whichever activity they want to to get the the Glyph upgrades, whether that be NM dungeons, regular dungeons, Pit, Challenge Horn, Side quests, Strongholds, World Bosses, Legions, Helltides, Overworld Events, or whatever other activity.

Giving players the choice of what activity they do will make the game seem less grindy. The amount of progress can vary depending on the difficulty of the activity, but as long as they are playing the game, some progress can be made.

And don’t just stop at Glyph upgrades; make Masterwork materials drop in locations other than the Pit, and allow progress in other aspects of the game too.

No. The new system looks great. It can stay the way it is so we can try it out before making judgments.

NMDs are going to be the best source of Masterworking materials. Hopefully they’ll work towards making them more like PoE Maps in the future, too, but we’ll see… :v:

No objection to keeping the new system as one option for upgrading glyphs and other things.

I just don’t want to be forced to do the same thing over and over, whatever it is. So I agree, the new system is great, just give me other options as well. :slight_smile:
