When searching the skill tree we highlight certain words like man or crit damage or crit chance i think.
Id like to choose a few keywords and have the loot on the ground and or in my inventory highlight in different colors so i can sort it faster.
If i choose 4 keywords like
vulnerable
core
critical and life
If all 4 of those are on 1 piece or geatr Id like the loot anywhere to be a distinctive color
Then if only 3 were on a piece of gear id like that a different color
same with 2
Its late and im tired so be gentle, if this wont work just let me know semi polite please.
Or if you have a totally different better idea id love to hear it.

No details have been given at this time, and no time frame has been given for when a loot filter will come out.
We can only hope that when it does come out it will actually work, and it’ll be something more substantial then just filtering out normal/magic gear on the ground. Now if it only showed specific stats per gear piece that would be amazing, but I get the feeling it won’t be anything complex because they have to think of the average player using it.
Yeah, kinda waiting for details too =)
I would’nt expect it, to be as customizable as the LE one =p
Its just gonna be a wait and see !
My guess, if their lazy attitude is anything to go by, is that they will just make those keywords that we already have in the skill tree to just work with the stash tab too.
The reason being that the search filter has to work with consoles too and if they make a good search filter for the pc on the stash tab then they will also have to make that filter work on skills and we know they are lazy af.
Hope they prove me wrong on this one but i don’t think they will make a good search filter.

Hehe, al i expect from these devs is a lootfilter that lets you select to hide white, magic or rare items. Nothing more, nothing less. The bare minimum like the rest of this game. Prolly need to do this inbetween their “white males are biggots” twitter posts, so about 1.5 years to get implemented.

We can’t even search our own inventories for specific affixes.
Loot Filter isn’t searching in your tab or inventory for specific affixes.
loot filter means that affixes on items on the ground will be checked and if not desired get hidden, so you don’t have to pick them up.
This obviously doesn’t work in diablo 4 since there’s no way to check items on the ground and you need to sell items for money, so you have to pick up junk.
Its all just so borked up.

I don’t pick up anything that isn’t ancestral rare/leggo since level 70+.
And I only pick up Unique Helms hoping for a Shako.
Every single other item I leave on the ground. So, at the very least, they can let us filter those out.
Will be funny if people turn the loot filter on and then realize the only thing dropping for hours is vendor trash.
I’d set pretty low expectations about anything involving this game. At least then you’ll be happy if it’s better than expected, and not as disappointed if it’s useless.
They described things more like we’ll be able to filter our stashes. Not a loot filter like poe. I could be wrong but they really made it seem like it’s just stash filtering
Nice. Glad to hear that the tremendous power and innovation of a microsoft spreadsheet is coming to Sanctuary, someday.
Just a reminder though. They haven’t announced any kind of loot filter. Only that the stash tab will be searchable. Loot filters are too much for the interns working there right now…

True, they need first to finish their 2 year training on the basics of coding a videogame.
Its sure is great working with that cheap workforce instead of expensive experienced workers.
