Why? WHY? WHY? Why this player base trying to bring down the game?

Why is this player base/haters so annoying? I don’t understand, players spend hundreds of hours playing a “dead game”. There are players who spend 100, 200, 500 hours on the game and say “the game is dead”, “the fall of Diablo 4”, what the hell is going on?
Does the game have problems? YES. Does it need fixing? HELL YES. But to say that a game has lost ~95% of its player base based on Twitch’s metrics? I firmly believe that this is a move to bring down Diablo 4. I’m not here to defend a billion-dollar company, I’m not here to defend a game that has flaws and needs to be fixed. I’m here to understand this player base that spends hundreds of hours and still tries to bring the game down. Here’s a question: Would you rather the game had never been released? Would you rather the game was shut down and you got your money back? OR WOULD YOU RATHER THE GAME HAD A COME BACK? Stop joking and compare, PoE was nothing at launch and became something in “The Fall of Oriath”. D3 was garbage at launch and became something 2 YEARS LATER with Reaper of Souls. And D2 became one of the best after its Expansion. So all these games needed time to adjust and PoE, D3 or even D2R after 1~2months of launch a season don’t have almost any player compare with begining of season. So stop joking and focus in what matters, we need to talk with the team, make noise about things that needs to be fix, complains about thing we need, but not try to bring down the game and just throw hate just because is hate.

This is our sad state of our world today. Hate is popular. People feed off it. Positivity has no place in this world today. He**, some candidates even campaign on it and people will rally behind them. If you want a bunch of “Likes”, say something hateful about this game and people will flock to upvote your post. It’s sad, but it is true!

It false!, the good games that deserve them are highly appreciated by their player base.
Negative critiques are often the only way to make oneself heard by big companies that decentralize their communication and choose a path that serves the interests of their business rather than their clientele.

Haters are there to remind them that it’s the customers who have the power and who have elevated them to their pedestal, not their marketing or bizness model!

Players don’t like the thing i like, that’s annoying.

Me and 10 other friends bought the game (all of them played the hell out of previous diablo titles excluding immortal), most of them quit after they’ve beaten the campaign, only 3 played S1 and none of them has touched the game for weeks.

And here you are defending a billion dollar company and a unfinished broken sad excuse of a game.

Yes please.

I don’t care anymore. I’m done with Blizzard and all their franchises, i have been burned way to many times by them because i grew up with Blizzard Games and was Nostalgic.

Yeah we do, but in your first sentence you call the player base annoying because we made “noise”

That’s right, man! That’s the truth, people like hate. I’m from Brazil and here, content creators in general aren’t crucifying the game, but these days a creator posted a video and it’s titled “I spent 500 hours on Diablo 4 so you don’t have to”. MAN??? What the hell? The guy spends 500 hours IN THE GAME and says “you don’t have to”? A game that has 500 hours of content and is garbage, that doesn’t make sense.

Hehe, I see. You don’t defend Blizzard, but you attack the customers. Is this some twisted reversal of the Robin Hood trope? You attack the poor to serve the rich? How noble!

So, instead of bringing down the game, you decided to bring down the disappointed customers. Great move, mate. You’re not like the “haters” at all. You’re a lover.

The players don’t need to bring the game down. The game does a pretty good job of that itself.

Probably the minority anyways, think about how many would play and not give a dam about internet opinions and gaming channels, diablo has roots in many generations and ontop, people like myself are aware and don’t give a crap.

So who knows, either way i think its childish and a over the top reaction taken by a minority, Others probably genuinely prefer a different style of arpg and instead of admitting that, they blame the game, in reality, it looks and feels like beta,pre-release no magic at the endgame was going to change that, that is hype googles.

It’s TV basically, people treat it as more, idk why, even Doctors and health professional disagree with science and medical facts, but somehow every problem with D4 is scientifically factual, in a video game, lool, lol idgi

I just play or dont play based on that, hopefully the game doesn’t fall too hard, but i dont think it will, even if they lost the current hype launch player base, a new pne should embrace it , same happened to D3. Hoping not as bad, so we continue to get good seasons.

You don’t make noise, you are crucifying the game. If your friends don’t touch the game after campaing is their fault, the game has content after campaing, a mediocre content? Maybe yes, but a hell better content in launch than others ARPG in launch. Are season 1 weak in content? HELL YEAH. But the game is not sad, broken or whatever. The game is mediocre now, but much better than D3 in many aspects and far better than a bunch of ARPG in market.

HAHAHA i’m not attacking the customer, I’m trying to speak the truth, the game is mediocre, but not broken or sad or whatever. I’m make noise like everyone else, but not make noise trying to create a illusion of game that is trash.

players just play the game, the game is trash, so it simply is in this rock bottom state on its own, dont blame the players.

I’m not blaming the player base, it’s just that this all “diablo 4 is broken” or dead or whatever, don’t make sense to me, if the players are spending hundreds of hours.

Lots of things don’t make sense to unintelligent people…

Feel sorry for you, but it is what it is…

Maybe one day your brain cells will catch up with you and you will see D4 for what it is. A steaming pile of trash…

The devs have even admitted they released a half finished game and then released parts of patches when they were unfinished too.

I’d rather the game does a comeback without costing anything. I am playing d2 and enjoying it a lot at the moment with the new season. I just have no reason to play D4. Nothing past lvl 55 was fun for me. Items were never fun to get. Uniques were a complete dissapointement. No sets, no runewords, no crafting, boring builds, no magic find, no trade (sort of), low stash space, easy boss fight (except one). So ya, I hope it dies because I don’t think they’ll fix the game for free.

I don’t care about Twitch metrics, but when the last 5 legion events were either me solo, or me and one other person, and I’ve managed to do two world bosses in the past two days where it was the same thing, then yes I can say with confidence the player base has dwindled.

Doesnt care anymore, is done with their games, yet hangs out on the forums. What a bizzarre way to spend your free time.

Ow, buddy, apparently you like to use nonsensical logic that says “anyone who disagrees with me and my hater friends is unintelligent”. What I mean, mister smarter, is that the game is mediocre, but it’s not broken, sad, garbage or whatever, because THE PLAYERS, WITH THEIR HUNDREDS OF HOURS PLAYED, MAKE NO SENSE WITH THEIR STATEMENTS.

But you post on a forum for a game that you do not like and was produced by a company that you do not like?

Fool you once shame on them, fool you twice shame on you. A fool and his money is soon parted. :man_shrugging:
