I seriously ask this question out of sheer desperation (in absence of an in-game LFG tool)… why do I have to download DISCORD to actually be able to trace people who are willing to group?
Why am I here in LFG Forums to find party mates? A simple interface in the game, that would certainly be helpful.
Where we can mark us as LFG and for which quest/dungeon/purpose so that other like minded can auto join. I seriously ask, WHY is that missing??

I 100% agree. This use to be fundamental to the success of Blizzard games in the past. They seem to have lost their ways. There is like no interactions with other players in this game. WoW had LFG chats in major cities, meeting stones and eventually a LFG menu later on.

KInda in the same boat. The only thing they do have is when you bring up the map going to social and local players, but I really don’t feel all that comfortable just sending a random message to someone I don’t know and I am sure some people really don’t want that random message either.
All I really want is maybe 1 or 2 other people to play thru the campaign with. I have a few hours a night on weekdays. like tonight I will be on after 330pm eastern.
Maybe some day they will add one.

That’s scheduled for the expansion in 2026.

Bliz like any other company does cost analysis to determine the bare minimum they can do to get highest numbers of us to buy their product while keeping their cost low to maximize profit.
I would suggest they determined the number of folks lost (that already bought the product) was acceptable to them to not have to pay people to develop/maintain any in game chat channels for LFG. But hey, what do I know.
Because sure… you took the minute to throw up a complaint in the forum, but what are you still doing? Using the product, and they know… from the same bean counters that you will also buy the next one.
