Why in the hell do we get teleported to the start of a dungeon when we die? this + the fact we have to backtrack all over the place are gonna make people quit this game so fast you have no idea blizz…
Make us ress where we die, and if we die at an event inside a dungeon, make us ress outside the door of the event… this is making me so tired of this game

I’d guess because ressing right back into the same pack of mobs that just killed you probably isn’t ideal.

whoops out of context i only read the title D:
what? im not talking about teleport to dungeon
ah yes. true. i only read the title and took context from whats trendy to talk about today. my bad homie.
Even D3 has a 5 sec invulnerable buff after you ress when you die
Trust me, you do not want to spawn on top of the mobs that just killed you. I got stuck in a death loop the other night (can’t remember which dungeon). Every time I revived the three elites I was fighting immediately teleported on top of me, stun locked me and killed me again. This happened 8 or 9 times before I got lucky and was able to run away. It was an expensive repair bill.
To make you want to avoid dying. Should be obvious.
Just be thankful that they res you at the door to the dungeon and give you time to make any changes you need to potions or get a repair done in town.
And if you die, I’m pretty sure if you were ressed right at the location you died, you are going to die again.
This at least gives you the chance to plan out how you get past the mobs that just killed you.
I agree, we should teleport INTO the dungeon not outside. Too many trolls dragging large quantity of monsters to the dungeon entrance. Pretty silly actually. I’d really be upset if I was playing hardcore.
changes to potions or repair? even D3 had the option to ress at corpse or in town… this makes no sense
