It seems to have some problems with the HDR.

I don’t know if you experience the same issue, maybe you can check the comparison:
I thought that was a design decision due to all “D3 is too colorful, LOOK AT THE RAINBOW” complaining that went on.
It’s their way to try to capture the feeling of “dark & gritty”, and they clearly missed the mark, since it ended up at grey and hazy.

D2 is dark, but not grey, there are many colors in the game.

I’m going to go out on a limb that the previous commentors didn’t watch the video or read what you said about there being a way to make the game less hazy and washed out, more colorful lol
D2 uses contrast to create dark areas as well as a vision system with dark areas to set the tone. D4 doesn’t do any of that and just puts a grey filter over everything.
