Looking at the “Diablo IV | Vessel of Hatred | The Next Chapter” comments a lot of people seem to really not like this character. She is like Sanctuary’s lovable Dora the Explorer why the hate?
“Neyrelle is still one of the dumbest people in all of Diablo history.”
“Anything other than Neyrelle shoving the Mephisto’s soulstone into her forehead will be a huge disappointment.”
Why she bad and how to fix it?
It is been over year so I can´t remember examples, remember just feelling.
She is unlikeable, whining all the time and if not she trying to look like big boss.
It reminds me “strong female character” we have to face in late years in entertainment industry.
I don’t hate Neyrelle at all… I DO think the hate towards her is over fetched.
*HOWEVER her actions were… (Though genuinely honest…and she meant well)
Her actions were Undeniably Stupid.
She’s a child with a lack of world experience (in Diablo), she’s not an Adult like OUR main character or Lorath, so for her IMO to take it upon herself to do what she’s doing… I’m sorry no sane child would/should/could Ever do what she’s TRYING To do.
But again, I say I don’t hate her, I don’t even dislike her, her actions were just Irrationally Stupid.
I don’t recall her Whining all the time, she did lose her freaken for arm/hand (forgot how but she’s handicapped).
Her trying to be a big boss? I don’t see that/remember her acting like that at all.
She still can be unlikeable I guess.

Diablo in general is Rich with Lore. Neyrell being part of the “Horadrim” she should of known that trying to carry the burden of a soul stone by herself …sighs she should of known better.
Look at the Wander from Diablo 1/Diablo 2 … looked what happened to him.
Like at what happened to Tal Rasha!
Look at what happened to …uuhhhh what’s his faced who was a vessel for Mephisto in Kurast!
The proof is there, carrying a soul stone will corrupt you, no matter who you are (especially if your by yourself with no support).
She’s doomed, all history knowledge she should of known better.
It’s why it’s up to Us Recuse/Save her poses like a super hero
I don’t hate her, there has to be an ignorant F-up in the story. Which can also be said about our character, soooooo…
Because she is a moron who ignores the wisdom of those older than her. She is an entitled brat who deserves to be turned into Mephisto’s meat suit.
There is nothing lovable about her.
The road to hell are paved with good intentions from ignorant buffoons.
I’m a Sorcerer, we don’t F-up … now Druid on the other hand… He can’t see past his belly button let alone walk in a straight line. 
Her actions are as the writer wrote them. What did not make sense was how the adults reacted or their lack of action afterwards.
“What?? the kid ran off with Mephisto?? It’ll be fine”
I did not have issue with her as a character.
Exactly why I said what I said. The writers did a FINE job. *Not being sarcastic/mean or anything like that btw!
I hope for that. And for story sake it is good to repeat same mistakes we saw in past I like it. But yeah her bad decisions are big part of my opinion on her.
Do we hate each other? 
I would not be supprised, I am pretty confrontational and loud with my oppinions.
But I have terrible memory for names so it is hard to keep tracking. Except Nuryeil (or something like that, do you see the correlation with her name, maybe it is based there :D)
But I always react to text and never to author. I would support even sworn enemy or even admit mistake If he would be right.
Nah it’s all good. We have different opinions about Tempering and… uhh… the direction of the game and stuff.
I’m far past over that though!
I just want everybody to be happy and play with one another if they want.

No she definitely ruined the story for me. If she not confirmed dead in the expansion I’ll pass on it. I can’t deal with listening to her all over again.
We don’t know how much influence Mephisto has over her already.
She is a child, she is vulnerable after losing her mother (and her arm I guess). Very likely if it was a decision at all, it was influenced, once she has Mephisto in her pocket.
And like I said above, what didn’t make sense is Lorath and your Character’s acceptance of her decision, as the story positioned it. I mean you are adults and you know how dangerous Mephisto is, and you are ok with her just running off. It should have ended with a search party forming…as the cliff hanger for the next part.

You are probably right, but I never had any emphaty for “he did bad things, but it was bcs he had it also hard” I don´t care at all if some serial killer has rough childhood etc.
Oh for sure! It didn´t end like that, right? In my mind it was clear and I was expecting whole DLC will be about chasing her down.
Honestly I hope they don’t write her off like they did Leah… NOW THAT I will Never ever get over.
Something no big, strong, male character would ever be or do. Only female.
