Why only 10 Waypoints?

i really dont understand why we only got 10 Waypoints. I cant imainge that player have fun… getting the other waypoints missing, when doing it over and over again in season 1 and before. what is the intension about it from blizz side?

Maybe they want you to play the game instead for having everything being given to you and “much other people.”

The problem is beelining explored points on a premade map isn’t exactly engaging gameplay.

This works in other games because maps change. D4 has a static map and you just spend time running.

Getting waitpoints you already had again isn’t gameplay. It’s boring and pointless and another time sink for no other reason than to waste time.

Videogames are a waste of time anyway, if you don’t want to walk in a videogame don’t play diablo

If i want to walk I’ll play a walking simulator.

Of all the things that need to be fixed this is so low on priority I am not sure why it is being discussed.

Agreed… 10 waypoints is nothing… it should be all map if I jave already discovered it. Maybe strongholds should not give their waypoint.

I am annoyed by a game where i spend 50% of my time running towards quest marker if the games focus is not exploration.

Imagine doom having an open world with some random demons spaced out really far.

The idea of seasons is to start from scratch. Also, nobody has to play seasons.

Maybe all waypoints and cities should be a stronghold that needs conquered to use them. That would at least be entertaining. Make them extremely challenging to impossible to do solo.

It could work on a static map too, if the stuff on the map changed more, and mattered.

That said, I will never understand why you make a static map in an A-RPG.

Your current character never had those waypoints.
That is basically how gaming works.
Stuff that happened in the previous game of Chess I played, is not carrying over to the next game.

Chess doesn’t have much cake baking contests, does it? Traveling doesn’t add anything to this game.
Imagine you had to do a 100m sprint before moving a piece. What a great addition to chess that would be.

no it is not a single player game ,unfortunately, like arpg’s used to be , everthing has to be forced interaction with other players, that is why we have world events, world bosses from mmo’s
