Trade channel is dead… e.g. D2R was full of trades and was fun. why nobody trade in D4?
btw, WTB in Eternal: Boots with Dodge+Movement+Armor, Helm with Cooldown+Poison imbuement+LuckyHit chance, Godslayer Crown.

Trade is where the RMT boosters and sellers live. I turn it off.

well, trading in d4 only reaches so and so many people at any given time. there are better options for trading.
i only use the trade channel every now and then to see if a fast trade is possible.
Cuz there’s like 20 ppl per channel. Dunno why its even in the game. Totally

The trade site is the best. Made money off of gear for builds i aint playing.
I dint know the intricacies but an auction house would be great if implemented ingame.

A season is only 3 months long and the drops are more than adequate so there is no reason to trade unless you would rather trade than play the game.
Who has time to follow up prices? There’s lack of currency. D2 had runes, pgms, PoE has different crafting currencies, D4 has nothing. Inflated gold means nothing. PGms are useless once you have all you need, no crafting materials, maybe spark could serve as currency, but it’s too scarce and untradeable. Maybe masterworking mats should be tradeable? I don’t know, but I am on console, how am I suppose to trade without wasting time? Third party sites? I don’t trust them. Auction house is the best option, otherwise I have no motivation to engage in trading, not that I need gold, I am not that ocd psycho with min maxing every possible masterwork, resetting or rerolling items for billions.
people are complaining that there isnt enough gold, so how is it inflated? we even have a thread here that asks if its against the coc to beg for gold.

we have Stygian Stones, can be used as curency. or other summoning mats.
But who needs stygian stones? I have plenty of them, but most people won’t be able to touch Uber Bosses, they are overturned. I wasted 5 minutes to take like 1/5 of the boss hp just to die, no thank you. The drop is not worth the hassle and only broken meta builds can do it. The currency should be something everyone uses, like Project Diablo has corruption orbs. Stygian Stones are only for useful for few people who can kill ubers. 95% of the player base will never use it.
