Here’s a question, Why are there no aspects really for Basic Skills?
Wouldn’t that make it a more fun experience because we’d have more options? It seems like aspects only make changes to Core and above on everything that I’ve seen so far including the new stuff!
If I’m not mistaken there is AS for basic in a aspect, no it’s crit on core for as
Rogue received one with Season 1:
Pestilent Points (Offensive Aspect):** Every third cast of Puncture is Poison Imbued with 100-150% of normal potency.
Hopefully they add more in the future!
TY I’ve not seen that one on my Rogue yet, but it’s crazy that Core Core Core Core is almost everything I’m seeing right now. It’s as limited as Glyphs in World of Warcraft which is another game I play but at least Glyphs aren’t directly responsible for builds!
Even then it’s only affecting Core skills.
Necro has had some for multiple patches.
One causes a generator skill to target 3 mobs instead of 1 and to create a corpse under all mobs being hit when the skill procs a corpse.
There is a druid aspect that turns your basic attack…INTO A COOLDOWN!
I’ve seen a few for decompose.
basic skill attack speed aspect its there from launch, I agree they should add more, but does it matter in current state of the game ?
Yes it does matter in the current state of the game because they didn’t release enough new seasonal aspects. If I wanted to go full Shadow on my Necromancer for example, I would have solely 1 option for healing myself which is the potion.
So spreading this out amongst multiple builds or even giving up more options than the Blood skill Blood Mist as the only option for healing when there are perfectly great basic options like Decompose with an aspect that causes a life drain would have been welcome or even another aspect that made the use of All shadow skills to produce a certain amount of shielding that stacks to a certain degree.
More choices are vital in ARPGs if not also in MMOs
cause basic skills are useless and do no damage? Why are basic skills even in the game might be a better question.
Not really, they could have added things like Basic Skills cause some kind of CC, All Basic Skills provide some sort of shielding, All Basic Skills provide some sort of healing over time, All Basic Skills gain leech etc etc.
They could even have done something like Basic Skill called X no longer causes CC but now has it’s damage stake up to 3-4 times it’s damage level when it’s attacking the same enemy.
