Why level drop to 50?

why in 2.0 players will be downgrade from level 100 to 50 and not 60? what I saw in PTR, you will need to level up to 60 basically wihtout having access to infernal hordes, Pit… … so this is a another punishment for playing etenral? to be forced to level up 10 levels by doing what? NMs?

Yup. That’s right. You are being punished. Everything is a personal attack against you.

At this point I would sue Blizzard. How they even dare to force to you spent like 30 min of exping just bcs they are releasing DLC.

Yeah man! So bad you have to play game…

Why are they also against Seasonal players? I feel like we are getting punished, being forced to level from scratch every season! :upside_down_face:

is not 30min. you need to play Peninet diffoculty with lot of actovities restricted for few hours to get to 60. so is not playing the game… is doing brainless useless activities to grt to 60… e.g. all the loot you find between 50 to 60 is useless

Yeah but your not starting over. You are starting at the beginning of the expansion. There is a difference.

I actually play both. And no, i don’t think only Seasonal players consider releveling playing. It’s only you, since you wanted those 10 levels for free.
So sorry, you will have to put some effort to level. I have no idea how will you do it by not playing the game but good luck. I’m sure you will find a way! :+1:

and those who do not buy the expansion? 2.0 anyway will be released for them too, otherwise, they eill remain wil 925 items you know…

Because 100/2 = 50 seems to be correct math if it was 100/2 = 60 well that’s someone’s else math

The progression revamp isn’t tied to buying the expansion. Only the start of the expansion where the new progression revamp starts. Yes you are level 50 because that is technically when you stopped earning skill points. The 50 extra levels of paragon points are not going away. They are being converted over to the new paragon leveling system. Everything is being converted over. Everyone is still getting the extra skill points and paragon points. Those that don’t buy the expansion just won’t get access to the new areas, new content, mercenaries, and Runewords.

You know, most previous game expansions would lock your character at the level and progression at the newest expansion you purchased. Getting new levels and paragon points without having to purchase the expansion are what gamers like myself would call “freebies”. Just be happy Blizzard is throwing you any kind of bone at all without buying the expansion.

Because you got to level 50 and then you did 200 levels of paragon after it. They just displayed it as level 100. Now you go to level 60 and do 300 levels of paragon.

Its not a downgrade. 50 is the new 100 and you are getting 10 new levels with skill points.

because they increased the level cap. the skill level cap was 50 then you entered paragon levels. they increased the skill level cap to 60, then you enter paragon levels again. you get 10 more skill points this way. i hope this helps in your understanding of why players have been reduced from 100-50.
