We all know what is being duped, mats to summon bosses. So why isn’t it fixed yet when there is such a simple solution and that is to make those materials not tradeable period. They should be in your bag like forgotten souls or veiled crystals. Why this hasn’t been done is baffling. Yes there may be some rares or gold but it is mostly mats because that is what is making the most money in RMT.
Nobody knows on this one.
Maybe it’s not as simple as you think it is. But hey put in your resume and when you get hired on as a lead developer you can teach them how to do it!
Gonna guess it’s the thousand, other “simple” issues.
because taking everyones ability to trade mats because 10% of the population is abusing it is stupid. just ban people duping and expand trade.
For them to disable trading because of it, tells you clearly it is more then 10%. Second, why do you need to be able to trade mats? If your running with your friends you would be using them anyways so there is clearly no need to trade them.
What a lovely idea. Let limit players even more bcs Blizzard is unable to fix exploits.
All hail to bandage fixing…
Better than taking away content due to the inability to be able to fix the problems.
Even if they fix duping, trading of the mats still creates a massive efficiency gap between traders and non-traders. Multiply that by the massive efficiency gap of 4 player mat sharing group runs vs. solo play and you have some people who just won’t bother with the system in its current state because it’s epic levels of absolute garbage. Meanwhile, streamers and traders are just chain running the thing whenever they want and run around in multiple uber uniques that maxroll lists as “nearly impossible” as their drop rate.
It’s a time-gate that only applies to some of the playerbase and not to others.
Traders vs. non-traders are playing two different games. This is why years before this game came out I told them they should NOT do trade this way. Either have an in-game trade system that’s accessible to everyone or don’t do trade at all. They didn’t commit to one direction or another so like most other things in the game it just seems unfinished and poorly thought out.
Well said. I do agree with most of it; however, I do think trading of some items is ok but why on earth they made the trading of the mats to summon these bosses allowed is baffling, If they made these player account bound then this would never have been an issue(with the exception of the huge time gates of coarse).
Really? If this was any other profession would you feel the same way? Plumber can’t fix the toilet? Roofer can’t fix a leak? To me that just means they are terrible at their jobs. I guess when you are a big enough Diablo fan boi you just think " gee whiz, why can’t they fix this. Oh well. take more of my money. There’s always next season!"
It sure is ao easy.
And its great solution.
