Why isnt 2.0.3 brining balance changes?

S6 is going to end fast with this horrid balance. It is one thing to have one or two builds on a single class 10-15 pit tiers higher then everything else. Its another thing entirely to have 4-6 builds 40-50 tiers above.

People are starting to role onto other classes now that they have tried SB and what are they going to find?

shocked to see no massive buffs to other classes. this season will die fast because nobody interested in that.

Because Blizzard sucks.

The “balance changes” required are actually fairly simple.

Buff every non-Spiritborn class’s damage by 500x. Druids and Barbs? 750x.

Boom, done. Hire me Blizz.

Because the main priority is getting the game to where it runs stable again. As of now, the came is a completely broken mess. It is going to be a while until we see balance changes.

If they played previous seasons with whatver top meta vs C - D tier builds, these people will already know.

The ones who are ignorant are those who just copy paste meta and hope that if they switch to non meta should expect to give meta performance. Oh you can interchange meta with bugs. They mean the same to me

It’s highly unlikely that the people working on stability improvements are the same people working on class balance changes. There are more than 5 people working there.

500x? The difference between doing a 150 pit in sub 10 mins vs barely making a 105 or whatever other classes can do is ALOT more than 500x. Try 10.000x

Because they don’t care.

even in this example you’ve opted to say “whatever top meta vs C-D tier builds”. completely bypassing A tier. If you go by Robs Tier list method (being 5-10 pit levels behind the top to determine tiers) then SB is S tier and all other classes are F tier.

There should be massive balance changes. The season will die in a week without it, and this is a normal length season, not a shortened one like 4 and 5. Screw all these excuses. Just buff the classes with a flat %buff that is freakin massive.

I started a Necro today after clearing Pit 15 solo with SB and now after a while, after playing SB, I miss the speed and power SB has. SB feels like a mix of Classes and it feels weird going back to an OG Class and doing the new “Spirit Born” content.

I mean, where id D$ going to go from here? Just get more “out there”? You know? How is SB going to look like in 2 Seasons? To me, SB doesn’t fit the vibe of the rest of Lilith’s Sanctuary we played through since release and Season 05.

probably they did not reached yet the selling targets for VoH so SB will remain overpowered as hell until then.

Balance changes come usually mid-season.

I guess they want to discuss what they want to change. Hopefully they bring the “old” classes up to SP gameplay. The SP is so much fun in my opinion.

No balance changes worry me. Maybe they believe the other classes are already where they should be. This could mean that Spiritborn might get nerfed next season to match the current power levels of the other classes. The forum will be fun.

I still haven’t started a Spiritborn yet, as I want to beat Pit 100 with my Rogue first. The new mythic chest releasing tomorrow might be the missing piece I need to reach that goal.

Username checks out.

I agree but that’s not gonna happened. They stopped doing that after the patch 1.1.0 drama.

perspective:
I took the initiative to get off evade build last night and respec to good old quill volley. While my damage often seems to be quadrupled (saw upward of 370mil on normal/white hits) I die instantly. I dont know if its a bug for having using the scroll of amnesia this season or something. I dont know what it is…

Or just a wakeup call that the evade build was THAT broken. Maybe constantly evading all damage except dots on the floor gave a false sense of security and survivability because Im getting absolutely destroyed in normal T4 content (helltides, NM dungeons…) When I slept through all content on the evade build including: T4 lillith, T4 citadel, all T4 bosses, 8 wave horde…

I effectively need to drop my torment down to T3 if I want to live. But Ive cleared all content in the game on the same character on max difficulty lol.

I think Im just going to continue with a re-roll on a new character, rogue maybe, and hopefully not get completely punted in T4 as well. What a damned shame it would be if all evade users wake up today, agreeingly acknowledge their build is dead and need to re-spec…but painfully find out that their gear is either trash or T4 is MUCH harder on a normal non-bug exploiting build.

Because SB is cool and no one wants nerfs midseason.
You’ll get your balance changes in s7.

Indeed, the class is designed to be irresistibly excellent, encouraging people to purchase it.

Barbs are suppose to just suffer until then just because then. Playing Dance of Knives Rogue btw. I suppose you could say that’s it’s somewhat balanced correctly because you struggle until you’re pretty geared up and then you only struggle in T4.
