so like where is any form of group finder or ways to find others to play with? i was hoping to pug dungeons or something but there is no options for that…
so is there any plans to add lfg tools or at the very least a working LFG channel? this game is supposed to be MMO lite right? is it disabled or just missing completely?
I was also somewhat surprised there was no “Q stone” next to the dungeon(s) or some in-game option to get in Q for instanced content. As you have said, they labeled D4 as MMO, and all MMOs provide tools to find groups.
Get on that Blizzard. I want it in by release.

d2 has game list to join other pugs.
d3 has quick join options based on activity.

i couldn’t find any thing in the options screens so either it’s missing or they totally forgot to add one. if it’s the latter, this bodes ill for live.
I was also absolutely hoping to make friend through looking for group / dungeon spam and was sad the options not implemented, didn’t end up grouping once other than waiting for the world boss
i dunno if it’s me but i almost never see other players in the open world.
for a supposed MP game, it seems to completely lack the tools to actually help facilitate grouping with randoms.
which begs the question…why??
Schemed up a plan to group with some folks and spam world events for blood shards cough I mean obubebls… be nice if we could list groups etc.
There is a guild / clan finder correct? I will have to look when I log in. I know I created one and then friends can just type in chat and group. You can also just type LFG in zone chat and people will join up. We are seeing only a small portion of what we will have later so it may be added. It may also not be something many people to want as if I have to go into a que due to coding if I want to solo dungeons in order to get in. What I mean by that is I personally do not want to enter a dungeon and then get a pop asking if I want to find a group or enter solo. Once the game is fully active people will be in towns recruiting for guilds. Join a discord and find a party to play with. I’m not saying at all the group finder is a bad idea just stating other ways. Hope you are enjoying the rest of the beta.
Just makes no sense. First they hype up the MMO aspect, and in the end you do literally every dungeon and everything solo, because there is no proper way to find a group. Overall MUCH less player interaction than in D2 and D3.
Also, for some reason not a single person is using /1 or /2 chat lmao

this. i have never seen another person talk too. i spammed trade chat and no response: even the basics of group formation is totally missing. why?
I tried getting help with the strongholds the other night and no one responded to me in chat. I tried trade chat and local chat and nothing I don’t know if people were afk, already grouped, not interested in grouping or were too busy to see. So yeah, it would be nice to have a lfg option to find groups.
Go to options, click Social, scroll down, click Join Trade channel, spread the word. This channel will be the closest thing to a groupfinding option we have right now but because it isn’t selected by default most don’t know about it. Spread the word and lets get a good global channel going!

No for some freaking reason blizzard has made no global chat ether so no LFG that way. I can’t fathom what they were thinking. I too want to group with people and can’t
Because the game is trash and we wasted money on it.
More than likely because of the stigma that the LFG feature was the downfall of WoWs’ social aspect.
Here to jump into this train of lack of LFG options. I have had to painfully use the Sanctuary Diablo 4 discord channels and it’s not great. They need to do something about this, I’m barely encountering people for public events frequently and it’s only the Legion and Boss ones that promote guaranteed co-op play.
Need LFG system. Please.
the clan finder doesn’t work
since launch, all the clans on the first page of search results are already full…
…and there’s no second page! they truncate the results after sorting by size so all you see is a list of a hundred clans you can’t join
(or sometimes if you click the right random combination of search tags you get a list of 3 clans that each have one or two people in them, none of whom are online right now)
an easy fix would be to add pagination, or to sort the results in random order, not chrono, so you get a random sample of clans with a variety of fullness on each search attempt
I am pretty sure there is no LFG options because devs did not have enough time to implement it before the deadline that shareholders gave them. Same can be said about many other features that are currently missing.
Let’s hope all these features will be a priority and added in upcoming seasons.
