In Diablo IV ingame settings i only see 2 options :
Window Mode & FullScreen Window Mode. Why did they remove Full screen from the game?
Assuming a game is optimized for the system and display being used, fullscreen mode has the potential to boost performance when compared to borderless windowed mode.
Because ultra widescreen users got to see more of the field.
I don’t think that is a valid reason. they should have left fullscreen mode avaliable.
it’s not like we are playing competetive like in esports or tournaments.
Windowed full screen is effectively full screen these days.
But ladders will be coming. so kill it before ya have to take it away.
If this give an advantage (like in this case, more view on the field), with the future leaderboard coming, pretty reasonable change
If D4 is using Directx 12 fullscreen native wont be supported. Same happened with wow.
There is no actual fullsceen lately. All other games in “fullscreen” are actually windowed fullscreen.
