I try to get any % of dmg reduction while fortified on my chest and the cost of reroll is over 5kk. I don’t try to max my affix, i just want anything. I already spent dozens of millions and i have to pay more and more. Why is the game punishing me? For getting unlucky? I’m loosing my mind

The cost is too high especially when they’re HEAVILY weighting a lot of the good rolls to low %. Damage reductions and health on chest/legs are impossible to roll. It’s actually wild considering these are the main rolls to go for.

Yeah the gold sink is wildly over the top. I don’t want to play beyond level 80 because it takes an hour of gold farming to have 1 chance to reroll 1 stat on 1 item. It’s pathetic how expensive it is.

I’m almost 97 lvl, i didn’t get any upgrades in the gear for a while, i got a good chest with dmg reduction from melee, distance and poisoned enemies, it just needs the most important affix and i can’t get it 3rd day in a row. I’m mad and don’t want to continue playing anymore.

thats a lie, 1st roll is always cheap…
I like it being more expensive ,not like D3, that way im more carefull which item i decide to reroll, and trust me i alrdy sold 2 items i wasted like 10mil on each but didnt get the desired stat

If 10m total is the max you go before throwing it away, then you truly have not seen “expensive.”
What you say does not correlate to your actions. You are ok with it being expensive but decide not to continue with it and throwing it away at 10m total cost.
I got a 3 stat perfect chest with capped HP/Damage Reduction and Damage reduction from close enemies.

I am on 5 mil rerolls now and still grinding for a somewhat decent 4th stat, I would be happy with damage reduction from far or something like a high roll forti regen…
10 mil? My current reroll cost is 5.3 mil and it was 4.7, 4.4, etc. I don’t know how much i spent on this item. I’d like to know

Pretty sure majority players wont go even that high …
Farming a 10M is quite a feat. When i told how much gold i have to other guildies they all said im rich .
So maybe you nad 0.5% are drowning in gold and have like 100+mil on you, but i dont.
SO i wont even disscuss on subjective topic as “how much money is enough” time with you.
What i say exactlly corelate with what im typing(not saying)… Im OK to be expensive and 10mil is a top im at the moment willing to go. What part you dont understand ?

Try rolling Max Life on anywhere and you’ll feel that it doesn’t even exist. Damage reductions on Top/bottom/ammy feels easier than life. Even the rings I give up, rather hunt something with max life plus vul/crit and roll the last damage affix.
Enchant seems to be very dodgy in this game, it always come out with that same few weighted affixes

10M is an hour of farming. Playing the game for an hour is hardly what I would consider a “feat”
Yeah play an hour, do one roll, get unlucky, come next day. What an experience?

If your rerolls are getting too expensive, then stop doing them and abandon the item. You aren’t meant to reroll the same item infinitely, hence the increase in cost for each roll. It’s something you do a few times on a potentially good item, and then you move on
This reminds me of riven rolling warframe, what a time.
I think it would be nice if you can choose to have the 2 choices you could pick from not show up in the next roll.
