This whole shako thing is done and over with. The only real problem i have with the whole thing is now we can’t target farm uniques. Back to grinding nightmare dungeons for hours upon hours hoping something you want will drop.
I know this is just Diablo, but why can’t we talk about improvements to Diablo? With the lack of real endgame content, there needs to be some method to the madness. Having helltide chests drops uniques was such a great step in the right direction. Now it’s gone. Helltide chests can now just be considered another elite monster drop.
Give us nightmare sigils with increased specific loot drop rates. Make it just another roll on the sigil itself. Or fix the coding and make it so we can get a unique chest piece out of a chest piece helltide chest.
Please introduce some sort of target farming. Give the community some life again after all this mess.

Blizzard completely ruined target farming for everyone because one too many players had the joy of getting an ultra rare, and it really doesn’t look like they’re going to revert this change

There was no reason to remove target farming all together from the game. There is no point now in opening helltide chests that are not mystery chests, nobody is looking for a specific legendary helm or chest. Either give barbs and sorcs class specific unique helms as well, or make uber uniques only drop from the mystery chest and allow us to target farm other uniques from item slot specific chests.

Probably because their code for drop chances is such a mess that they couldn’t find another way to fix the issue.
After all it took them like 3-4 weeks to fix the Druid loot table

It’s because those in charge of this game are inept. They totally missed this in the original patch and then had to hustle to throw together a fix, I suppose that turned out being somewhat complex due to the different class based uniques so some mastermind came up with a much simpler solution that could be implemented quickly.

Make Uber Lilith have a decent chance to drop rare uniques. Do the same for lvl 75+ nightmares. It just makes sense.
