Why is PvP zone so laggy?

And how is it possible that Blizzard finds this acceptable? It just gets worse everyday and no word from Blizzard about it?

No word from Blizzard, and itā€™s definitely the most laggy area in the game.

I actually wonder if theyā€™re just matching people across all platforms and regions, and that doesnā€™t happen in other zones.

It could be related to the huge monster density as well.

My estimation is the amount of ground loot. Everytime I clear a bunch of mobs and there is loot everywhere, I tend to start seeing lag. The other time is after a couple PVP battles, it also degrades.

Ive noticed it gets worse over time spent in zone.

The last helltide was miserable. The lag was so bad I died twice and lost most cinders. Itā€™s so bad i just turned the game off.

PvP zones is most of the time unplayable, what a joke.

so disappointed by that. that would be one of the most fun areas of the gameā€¦ hope they will fix it at some point cause right now it is unplayable.

I like the lag in there bc I live 2 instead of 0.1 seconds vs Level 100 small nose guys. :smile:

My guess is it is not the loot or stuff. They put players of all regions together to have active (aka low lvl farm) layers. It was always laggy in there since headstart. Feels like battlegrounds in WoW vs russians which is also laggy as hell.

Every zone is laggy, even though like 70% of the players arenā€™t playing anumore :smiley: . #MultiDollarCompany.

Pvp isnt going to be balanced, they already said that broā€¦lol its how d3 was amd its how d4 should be

Iā€™d argue that the entire game is laggy, not just pvp zones. Or maybe itā€™s just me.

This game is poorly optimized worst Blizzard launch since Warcraft Reforged.

PvP zones are extremely laggy. I notice when someone is getting close because the Latency goes crazy high and get up to 1700 msā€¦ absurdā€¦

Thatā€™s why only spammy lvl 100 rogues or barrelroll barbs can win in pvp. Meanwhile I have to actually aim with my spells as a sorc.

I guess itā€™s time to go conjuration so I can play blind and braindead like the rest, and still be unable to do anything.
