Why is no one talking about stash space?

Specifically, why is no one talking about character-specific stash tabs as opposed to making all of them shared stash? While writing this I actually see several “similar” posts coming up, but all of them from 2023. We’re all obviously acquainted with the difference between an additive increase and a multiplicative increase, so how does a game like D3 go it’s entire life-span without appearing to acknowledge this simple idea, and then carry that flaw over to it’s predecessor game?

now, im not against more stash tabs, but i also dont know why people would need them. I mean, what are people hoarding?

A single unified stash is no different than having a character stash and a shared stash both.

Except for the lack of tabs to make up for combining the 2.

So there is no discussion to be had about “unified vs single & shared”. The discussion should be “more stash tabs”. Which is exactly what people are discussing.

successor. not predecessor.

there’s no way you’re a real person playing this game lmao.

“I’m not against can openers, but I don’t see why people would need them. I mean, what are people eating?”

You’re replying to someone that has 12,000 posts on a forum that is a year and a half old. Do the math.

The reason why nobody really talks about them is cause of the reason why we arnt getting more is not cause blizzard doesn’t want us to get more it’s cause the way they coded them has left them currently unable to give us more altho I think there maybe done redoing vast amounts of the game so maybe they can have time to fix the issues preventing them from giving us more stash space

you are trying too hard. thats why its borderline pathetic. Eventually you should stick to the topic at hand.

I mean, i understand that you want attention, but you know, you can also just nicely ask me to chat with you if you are lonely.

It isn’t discussed as much as it used to be because with the changes to the codex and other systems no one needs to hoard as much anymore. The changes to the codex was a god send. Before that change I would have tons of aspects clogging up my inventory. Not anymore.

I don’t hoard much gear because I usually stick with my build and ditch all gear and weapons that are of no use to that. I might keep some uniques, but only one copy and if I find a better version, I keep that and ditch the inferior one.

true, i hoarded quite a lot of aspects myself back then. Now i really only use like 2 stash tabs with replacement items i want to keep for tempering. 1 stash tab for boss mats and 1 for runes.

It’s probably one of the most discussed topics in the forums. Did you just say no one is talking about it to make your post feel more urgent or have you just not been paying attention?

Mad respect dog. You gave the d4 forums your all, like literally :fist_right::fist_left:

is that a “no, i dont want to stick to the topic”
and a
“Please Nyurei, im bored and lonely, would you mind chatting with me”?

I hope one day you find your equal.

awww, how sweet of you. But no worries, i already did <3

At this point it’s a lost cause. This was brought up again and again on launch…my guess is people on the forums are tired of asking about it…just a guess though.

I take this view. I hate that I take this view but I do take this view. The game has a native 300 stash tabs in shared which is more than enough.

Nyurei, must we engage in this?

Veracity did the math on another thread. 3 builds deep across 6 classes is about 190 or so stash spaces. There are 120-30 uniques + mythics.

This does not include space for matts / consumables and other things that clog up space including runes and excess NM dungeon / hoard access.

The S and A builds across multiples sites goes to about 25-35 builds. Eternal players tend to collect across most of the viable builds.

Eternal players holding the single BEST unique, and only keeping 3 builds actively (playing all classes) are out of space.

If you are seasonal, unlikely you will need the space.

we must not. As i clearly said, im not against more stash tabs, but i also wonder how people fill up their stash, because i personally dont run into space issues at all.
