Tree of Whisper gives you so much money, that you could easily get 50m+ an hour and you dont even have to think about it, because you do the Whispers anyway to summon Duriel.

So at the moment gold is pretty much irrelevant.
There should be other ways to spend money, easiest money sink at the moment would be the ability to buy eggs and shards to summon duriel, could be something like 50m a piece.

Exactly, I’ve been spamming Whispers mostly, even after rerolling and creating a new character to use the shared gold, still it feels like gold is useless.

And even if they allow you to purchase eggs for 50m a piece, they’ll also have to add more items cause you’d find them all in a week xD

Either way… they’ll likely add more stuff to spend on, in the fuuutre…

You can buy gear from vendor, disenchant it for veiled crystals! 200mill is like 200-250 veiled crystals, which is pretty much gone within few rerolls…

Personally, felt better when gold wasn’t enough, there was something to do… haven’t complained about it…

I feel ok with my rerolls so i dont have to do any eitherway… veiled crystals are as useless for me currently xD

Well, not everyone is lucky as you it seems…

I still have to get my useful stat on weapon, gloves, chest, legs and amulet.

And rerolls are at 3,4mill per reroll.

Just because “you” are happy and feel ok with your stats and rerolls doesn’t mean everyone is.

Also once i get to 100, i will roll for better stats. Always something to waste gold on.

But ok i see. Useless to talk about it when we have completely different takes on this subject.

Hmm I dunno, I can easily blow through 100M on a single enchant attempt to make an item truly great. Might as well spend it and go for the top stats as gold does no damage/defense in the bank, it belongs on your gear in forms of enchantments.

You clearly have never re-rolled to a perfect roll…then accidently clicked keep current roll…and 200M later can’t get it back to perfect roll… :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Minmaxing gear can often cost in the hundreds of millions per item.

Blizzard can’t make up their mind on what to do with gold.

First they introduce respec costs - which frankly don’t need to exist - the barrier is/was/always will be gear.

Then they had ridiculously priced enchanting costs - which just lead to massive yo-yo-ing of your gold. 5 mil, 100k, 10 mil, 5k, etc.

Then they nerfed enchanting costs but require helltide mats, so there is next to no strain on gold.

I honestly don’t even know what their design “intent” is with gold anymore. I’m not sure they do either.

Plenty to do with your gold.

  • Buy Duriel runs or other UBER bosses
  • Buy UBER mats to summon your own
  • Reroll your gear assuming you don’t run out of Forgotten Souls/Fiend Roses before you do money.
  • Buy BiS yellows 4/4 rolls are easily 100m gold depending on the slot.
