No global chat
No group finder
Seeing other players is a constant reminder of always online server loading everyones inventories lagging you out psuedo mmo gameplay.
Characters are ugly and gear is ugly and you can’t even see most details so no one cares what you look like.
No trading community or duelist/pvp community nothing to incentivize player interaction.
Yeah I dunno it’s a total mystery bro.

A group finder should be minimum but unfortunately grouping minimizes the end game content to trivality.
Plus with real meaningful group resources in game more players wouldn’t have to do seasonal every season. Would drive money away.

See, I just like to go around from town to town, event to event, and offer to carry people through their first tier 100 dungeon, but I hardly ever get any takers. I also offer to help everyone with any other quests or things they’re working on. People are there, just no one wants to play with anyone else. It’s so weird.

Nobody sane likes or wants anything to do with the D4 community… they are wow players and most gamers who dont play mmo’s want nothing to do with mmo players who are known for narcissistic/egotistical behavior
Generally arpg games are best played alone. I always play alone. I don’t like wasting time talking, but rather playing.

The issue is if you’re in town and talking to the “Local” chat, you’re only talking to a max of 11 other people, 12 including yourself. If you’re talking in Trade chat instead it’s a mix of World Tiers and various people in that chat, unfortunately we don’t know how many people are in each Trade channel. It could be a max of 12, 20, 30, etc. they’ve never told us.
The systems that would support more social play just aren’t there, and it’s also a game that historically has been largely single player, so it’s no surprise that people aren’t bothering to be more social.

lol without PvP Diablo would be a nothing burger in the genre you are wrong.
The game is set up to be antisocial. This game winning some social award for multiplayer or whatever was a complete and utter joke. WE dont even have D3 functionality here in socials.

I find myself not wanting to talk in games anymore. I thought it was mainly because I used razor tartarus to play most things now instead of a keyboard.
But honestly, the conversations you can have just aren’t even fun. Everything’s too sanitized and corporate. You can be reported for literally anything. Woke sensibilities ruined all social aspects of games.
The open geek humor that these games were all based on and created by is long gone. And so are the conversations.

Everybody would end up getting banned if their was a global chat based off how blizz bot report system works… you annoy one group of players in game you will end up getting muted
