Why is capstone at recommended level 70 if we are clearing it at around 55?

Just a casual question.

Running through helltides at 55 solo like most people, why waste time in WT3?

Lower requirement for this capstone to 60 and add another one at 70 for WT5

Asmon tried it at level 58 and was unable to do it. I’m not sure if you’re aware but currently only rogue and druid can clear it early currently.

Ah okay I’m Druid and hitting 100k+ crits since I used this malignant gem with crit dmg… Thought thats good for other classes too

Cleared it today hardcore Necro level 61. Took a dangerous hit during boss fight but that’s it.

?? He is arguably more qualified than 99% of players…The man has a geared out 100 barb, he knows wtf hes doing lol

Either way they should change recommended level to 60 then.
Because people are probably staying on WT3 not knowing it isn’t as hard as the requirement makes one think it is.

Mainly because the defensive pieces of armor have overpowered stats which add huge amounts of damage reduction which help negate the dmg bonus fromhigher level enemies…

Also there’s going to be little dmg difference between lvl 55 with sacred weapons and say level 65 with sacreds.

Only druid and rogue? lol… It depends on the build and items equipped. Every class can do it probably. Definitely Barb and Necro can. in fact I would bet they could do it with less hassle than Rogue.

I had no issues whatsoever with a fire sorc at 59

The problem with going to T4 at 55 is that it’s actually a complete waste of time, even if you can do it. Thanks to the huge experience nerf, you don’t actually gain anything extra from fighting enemies 20 levels higher than you, except the chance at Ancestrals…which you won’t actually see much of until you’re doing around NM 35 - 40.

The only reason to bother going into T4 early now is to hit up Mercy’s Reach or the Belfry to get a huge weapon upgrade, then go back to T3 to do NM dungeons until at least level 65. Fighting world mobs at 55 is completely inefficient for player leveling and you won’t be doing NM 21 effectively for glyphs either.
