Why i’ll keep playing D4
firstly, i think SB is copping unnecessary flak, if you don’t like it don’t play it.
i like playing SB sometimes, i mean if you want a challenge, choose a harder class. its kinda nice to have the SB option if you wanna run through a bit and collect loot and see all the new abilities they have.
i kinda agree with some people that the story is not that great, but i think a lot of games are guilty of that to be honest, i do think Lilith is freaking cool though and the SOH cut scenes are really brilliant. Sometimes i like comin home from a hard days work and just slayin demons. sometimes i just wanna farm the night away, improving my codex, tempering and transmogs, i’ll farm all day for transmogs, one of my criticisms of the game would be that there are not enough random, FOUND, seasonal transmogs, not the progression ones, they’re fine, but i want more, i mean even if i find a unique or mythic, if it gets me a new transmog, off to the black smith it goes! The paragon boards are cool, but i agree with some that they should do a little more or work with other things like weapons as a tie in, maybe that makes no sense but i can see it.
treasure goblins! i’ll never not love them! my heart sill skips a beat when when i hear their little laugh!
and the waves of hell or whatever, that is a marathon of clicking, like if i do enough, my hand is sore and my eyes water and i need a break! class specific quests, these are awesome, but i wish there were several for each class, and maybe one where you have 3 choices and they actually impact something on your development later, that you cant go back and try the other options with the same character, again maybe that doesn’t make sense but i see it.
i’m also enjoying collecting favor and getting caches in exchange, and the tree of whispers is cool too, and all the stuff you can do around the map due to whispers is cool, so much more fun farming with whispers. helltides are great, the chests that get ripped open by the tormented souls, the loot, and the constant attacks. the realm walker is wicked, anything that opens a portal is freaking awesome in my books,
im loving the horses and the cats to get around on, inspired, but i do wish you could improve them somehow, and i want the dismount attack to be he beast rearing up and stomping down on your enemies. The strongholds are cool, and the Lilith alters are great. to that point so are the incense, if you’re not burning one down, you’re letting the realm down!
oh! and i’m enjoying the bosses you summon with odds and ends and the progression of that is pretty cool. finding randoms in legion events and smashing it together is always such a pleasure, i’ll do that for a whole day! Or meticulously going through my armor and weapons to create a build for the different things i think i’ll encounter and spending a whole weekend making 3 perfect sets for my character and then finding something amazing and going back to work that into my builds, the tempering and master working and the farming you have to do to make them really work is huge and so rewarding for me. i’m also loving the new mythic class of items and i hope that gets expanded just ever so slightly.
i would like more wired wonderful pets you can find in game on a very rare basis as opposed to buying from the shop.
i’ll always love playing a hardcore character and just testing myself on a speed run, how far can i make it? or turning on a high torment on hardcore, that always gets my heart pumping! And now i see you can battle other players! ive not been lucky enough to find a friend there so far but i’ve only dropped in a few times (i only bought D4 in august) but that looks and sounds like a hoot! and you know what they say about ducks!
i mean i started playing when i was 9, in 1997, on my cousins computer, we would take turns playing, but he was older so in the end mostly i played. i used to have nightmares about diablo, specifically the butcher, the way he moves so quickly, and his voice. its one of the only games i’ve ever REALLY played and i’m so grateful it continued to grow into the amazing free world we have in D4(not to mention D2,D3 and i don’t count immortal), and sure maybe some games are doing one portion of diablo better than diablo is and good luck to em, when they’re on POwhatever 4 and been running for 30 years and spawning countless other games, then yeah, they might be as good. but untill then i’m playing DIABLO godammit and i love it! lastly, i know they always say “no cow level” and i tell others, there is no cow level, but secretly, to this forum only, i dont even believe myself, i’m convinced that if i keep playing i will find a cow level.
so these are some of the reasons i keep playing 
also, i would like to say, anyone who criticizes D4, i am in no way against you! some people describe these message boards as toxic and they can be, but when people express honest frustration with an aspect of the game i say make some noise, i hope the devs are thick skinned enough not to think your honestly criticizing them personally and that they are keeping notes, its those notes that will help lay the blueprints for D5! my hats off to you all, honestly, its discourse on this board thats gonna give us an even better game

Most if not ALL of us stare at the computer screen/t.v. for over 15 hours a Day.
The last thing we need is to read THAT much with out proper spacing between sentences.
I don’t think anybody is gonna read all of that, let alone respond properly. I’m Not gonna read all of that, my eyes are already tired. lol
