Simple question or suggestion if you will.
It is a slight thing. But why is ghost/spirit/banshee enemy in 90% of “kill all enemies” and kurast undercity. It seems very strange, maybe even stupid, that the one enemy who have to take time to spawn in is, delibrately(?) in the content where it is a detriment to miss it…?
Overall in terms of gameplay I actually feel that one of biggest weakness’ of the game is mobs just appearing out of nowhere. At least in previous titles skeletons had a coming from the ground animation and so on.
I some way it removes any impact from killing them…
yep, that very last fella to spawn at Greater Spirit Beacon, what roles does it play.
No no, I mean what I say - tell me the correct name of them then - or ask me what I mean.
So let’s take the NM dungeon example then. “Kill all enemies” is more often than these ghost (I don’t just mean the big one), if you look at minimap, you will see no red spots, then all of a sudden there are some… That’s all
It is minor nuissance and I feel the game would be better if that didn’t happen… So I’am asking why, as in is there a reason I don’t see? Or simply putting it out there so hopefully could be improved…
There is a simple reason. It is to waste your time. This entire expansion & season feels like its been designed to purposely waste players time and keep them in-game longer.

It’s bad design. The devs don’t play their game enough (or at all?) to discover any of these issues and experience how annoying it is.
It’s just a scripted event that triggers and occurs. Normally, what I’ve observed is that near the end of the ‘kill all’ event, it gathers all the remaining enemies from every corner for the player to finish off.
I hate ghost mobs, I like to clear dungeons but they love to teleport behind you and you can keep moving and not notice them. It irritates my gaming murder OCD.
Bettlejuice taught us that ghosties have the mosties.
