Why don't Roothold sigils stack?

Hordes keys stack, why not Roothold sigils?

well there are different rootholds, for whatever reason (because in the end they are pretty much the same). I agree tho, in theory they should stack.

now normally you dont have a ton of these keys anyway, so its not really a big issue, but it for sure is an oversight in my opinion.

I have too many roothold keys. They aren’t really worth running… but their acquisition isn’t passive enough for me to trash them.

They drop tons of loot and are fast. I would say they are worth running.

I don’t need an inventory full of trash. They don’t drop obducite, they don’t give whispers, and they don’t level my glyphs. They are not a valuable use of my time.

1.5 packs of loot in like 3 minutes? I was running Rootholds. Felt worth it.
I was also grumbling that way too much loot is dropping, but that’s a different conversation.

People saying rootholds drop too much loot - have you ran them since they were patched or is this just from early season?

They’re beyond worthless since the patch that lowered the pinyata loot drops that people were complaining about.

There are as few as 3 different rootholds irc. They do not stack because Lizz couldn’t be bothered to make them stack while deceiving themselves with the lie that forcing players to alternate between different content would make them bored slower.

As worthless as the gentlemen who had them nerfed because they couldnt be bothered to look for the “*” sign on the ground. Do not forget nor forgive them.

Just logged in and ran one. Started with an empty pack and my pack was full before the boss fight started.
Yeah, they still drop way too much loot.

Has anyone ever tried leaving non ancestral stuff on the ground ?

Yeah, that minigame isnt much fun. Cut the fun in half on a controller. You cant just click the loot you want like you can with a mouse.

I ask this type of question all the time. How hard is it to NOT pick up what you dont need?

Pretty hard, actually. Its pretty hard.

This one is Blizz’s fault. Console and PC versions should have been entirely separate.

I agree. My key tab is always full. I am dropping keys constantly on the ground. Just don’t need that much.

???

I dont understand what you would have them do differently on console but not on pc?
Would you add a loot filter for console but not pc?
Would you have different amounts of loot drop for one or the other?
Im interested to hear how/why you would make them different.

Even if i were on PC, i wouldnt psychologically want to leave loot on the ground. I would look at the minimap and constantly have anxiety that im leaving GAs even though i just walked away from that pile, etc.

On console/controller, pretty hard actually.

Even with that aside depending the content I am running I pick it up so it doesn’t all go into my auto-stash and fill it up which could cause a good item not to get there.

To be fair, IDK what actually happens when it’s full. Does it stop sending stuff there? Which is my assumption. Or does it overwrite what’s there with newer stuff?

If we could set the stash to only take ancestrals that would help greatly.

Thankfully it only takes a few seconds to stash/favourite the few ancestrals worth keeping then bulk salvage everything that’s left.
