Hi guys, i need help. I just created the quill volley built following the maxroll guide, i replicated pretty much everything except the armor, i have a normal legendary armor for the added life and armor bonus. I tried on the puppets and it works perfectly, regeneration is istantaneous and i do tons of damage, even the cooldowns are good.
The problem is, when i try to effectively play, it doesn’t work. Very often the resource doesn’t regen, it remains zero, and i don’t have anything to regenerate it (i don’t have the basic skill equipped), so i only have the natural regen which is too slow and basically i’m screwed. Why regen doesn’t trigger and i remain at zero? Why it works on the puppets but not on the actual enemies? I can’t play like this… Please help!
You have to hit 100% regen. Check Mobalytics build guide by Sanctum or AceofSpades in their guide they have a link to a spirit regen calculator you can use in the solving resource section of the guide.
Also you have to hit something for it to regen back to 100%. You can’t just spam or spray and pray with the build for it to work.
I have 100% regen and more. My problem is this: I hit, go to zero, refill, like normal. But often i hit, go to zero, and DON’T refill. I remain at zero and if i use the feathers, nothing changes, the vigor remain at zero. I sacrified Counterattack in the skill bar to put the basic skill that gives regen, otherwise i dont have a way to refill and reignite the cycle.
You have to hit a mob in melee range meaning ravager must be active and a target must be selected. Hitting a mob with 1 quill across the screen won’t work. As I said you have to methodical with your attacks and you can’t just Quill Volley at whim and hope to never run out of resources.
If you’re doing the overpower build you need 275 vigor in order for the build to be fully operational otherwise you’re gonna be doing nothing.
My problems when I’m doing 100+ pits is when I hold down the quill volley on the boss sometimes it moves and attack nothing. Am I suppose to position myself every now and the. Or am I not optimizing my cdr. Otherwise I am 1 shotting everything outside of t90 pits
No, i use the regula, “vanilla” quill volley eagle spirit build. However, i finally fixed the problem. I needed the “sapping” legendary node. Without it, the build just doesnt work. With it, i can spam feathers at will and i always regen.
