What would you suggest then, that seasons only last 3 days? Gee boys the players will love this, we’ll have two new seasons every week! That way only the sweatiest of sweatlords will play this game

We must never underestimate the dork side of the force. Us Dorksiders don’t really comprehend what “casual” really means.
2 months isnt enough time? If you are playing with your screen off and facerolling your keyboard, then sure, it might take more than 2 months to finish the season. I promise i play less time than you and finish seasons with plenty of time to spare.
Each players spends play-time differently. The point is dev didn’t announce this season is only 2 month long.

You must have conversation with a casual to understand. They will start whining that they have a wife and kids. You will tell them that even with a job and taking a good part of the day to get outside you yourself can still bang hard in games. They will start being condescending and say “You do this? Oh yeah? That’s nothing! I do THISSSSS!!!” and compare your daily routines, belittling you and emphasizing with an arrogant smugness how tough they are for having a wife and kids.
For a normal casual: no.
For a casual “HC” that optimizes down to the smallest detail: yes.
Season, unfortunately, is not for (real) casuals, but for some reason they try to make it for casuals anyway.
It’s a (very long) time attack mode with competitive origins. Casuals don’t (try to) compete… they can’t, it’s unrealistic.
Eternal mode should be for casuals and season for sweats.

I dont know an exact number, but i log between 12-15 hours a week and had about 7-8 weeks left in the season when i finished the season. And that was with playing a solid B-tier class/build
I am here during work or while the kid is playing around, and i only play 2 or 3 hours at night max. I am definitely a casual lurking on the forum.
And as a casual I think there is no perfect length for a season. If want to come up with my own build I would probably be too slow for the 2/3 month. If a follow a guide 2 weeks are enough.
I think seasons are made for casuals who follow guides.
