Why does shako have a mask on eyes

Makes no sense, in d2 it didn’t have mask on eyes…Looks horriblyAnd should have been green.

haha, I never noticed that. I will have to look at mine.

D4 writer/artist’s process: Harlequin = masked clown, put a mask on it. The inscription says it was worn by an assassin disguised as a mage. In a D4 writer’s or artist’s mind, an assassin would of course “hide” in plain sight by… wearing a clown mask.

That was the first thing I noticed. There should be a rare version of shako without the mask. For example if you get shako as a random world drop then it would have different transmog.

I can feel the process, let’s disguise the assasin mage as a damn clown wearing a green sock on his head…but put a mask on his eyes so that he can go to a disguised party.

I never liked the way the shacko looked in D 4, it looked so butt fugin ugly… Felt like I was wearing something a homeless person would put on their head.

The shacko in D 4 is Just as ugly, I don’t know what the dev’s were thinking…

What do you expect from an item named “Harlequin’s crest”. I guess it could have had more of a ceremonial form but the current design doesn’t not resemble ceremonies either

It sure looks ugly but everyone seems to be wearing one anyway. I wish I could too.

Looked ugly in D2 also at least in D4 we can mog it.

It looked ugly in a cool way and I think that was done on purpose. In D4 it’s plain ugly.

Not that many players transmog it. Either they like the “cool” looks of it or they are just proud to have found one and what to show off. Maybe I am just a bit jealous.

For those interested here’s how it looked in D1

There’s a lot left out D4 that was in D2…And there’s a lot added into D4 that WASN’T In D2 that shoulda been left out😒the Rogue shoulda been left out if they weren’t willing to put in a real Ranged Class

I’m genuinely confused by this. What do you imagine in “ranged” that’s missing from Rogue… or rather, that couldn’t be added to Rogue (if it’s really missing)?

Btw, I’m going to assume turrets are coming (& the busted totems were a prelude).

Well, in fairness to mages/sorcerers/wizards, their whole vibe is wearing funny hats. So a green-sock-looking cap is pretty modest for that bunch. If the assassin wore it, then all the mages around them (this was an “order” of mages) probably wore it too. But something tells me it wasn’t the mages who came up with the mask.

For some stupid reason they deleted Strafe, Some Troll suggested it was removed because bots used it too much, Except if that were the reason Whirlwind would have been deleted as well since strafe & Whirlwind are virtually identically skills in D3, Oh and another difference between D3 & D4 is that spammy cooldown D3 inherited from World of Warcrap, At least you could work around it D3 you can’t in D4!:unamused:
