As far as I understood, Vhenard (her mother) was enthralled by Lilith and started a ritual on behalf of Lilith, that would also provide Vhenhard with knowledge that she seeks.
After fighting Vhenhard and essentially killing her, why does Neyrelle complete the ritual? Wasn’t the ritual wrong to do in the first place and essentialy benefitting Lilith or is that irrelevant at this point (Lilith mentioned something about her being able to continue but that Vhenhard is forced to do a ritual)?

The ritual is to reach Rathmas sanctum, nothing evil. They brought a priestnwith them from the envoy, because he had blessed blood to open the way. But it’s limited for one travel, per ritual for one person, or Lilith didn’t wanted Vhenhard to come, doesn’t realy matter. Since Lilith went through, Vhenhard needed to repeat it, because she wanted to study the snactum, but had no blessed blood left. That is why we needed to get a blessing to open the way again, and go in to the sanctum.
This. The ritual needed to be completed so you could cross the Black Lake after receiving the priestesses blessing. To chase Lilith.
So why did Lilith do all of this corrupting on Vhenhard to then convince her to continue this ritual (and make her hostile to her own daugher) if the ritual was going to be done anyway by the priest from the envoy? Was it just for the fun of it, since it technically led to Vhenhard’s demise after she got aggressive towards her daughter?
she might need servants to carry out rituals for her. remember the dead priest when you arrived, thats who they killed first so she could get across
The only way for Lilith to cross the Black Lake was to have a blessed priest open the way. You can imagine the issues with that, with her being from Hell and all. So, she corrupted Vhenhard to have her get a blessed priest to open the way to Rathma and the key to Hell.
So the blood of the dead priest (with the decapitated head) was used initially for the crossing. After that, Vhenhard was just doing the ritual again to cross herself since all of the blood of the priest had already been used for Lilith?
Oh, I see what you’re asking now. Yes, she was doing the ritual again to follow Lilith, her “Mother”. Since only one can cross per spilling of the blood.
Well the priest wouldn’t do it, he was allready dead, they only needed his blood. And while she probably knows how to do the ritual, she as a demon might not be able to, maybe only humans who have nephalem heritige can, so pure bloods don’t have the power. And yes she likes to seduce people, she’s the queen of the succubi after all. And she’s not pure evil, she needed followers, even if just for a short ritual.
