The question in the title is, why hasn’t any dupe method been fixed for 7 seasons?
So, i assume, you know they are working, because you use them.
Then please answer your question for us.
Why are you doing this?
Edit: why i assume this.
You use words like any and always. You are the first here, that complains about dupes this season. You provide no evidence for the issue, you are opening with your question.
They could also be part of the RMT business that is upset about the dupes as it cuts into their profits. The more dupes there are the less money is made. Basic economics, supply and demand.
All games that has some kind of inventory management system in it has a few dupe methods that can be used to exploit it. Diablo isn’t the only series it affects.
As long as this has been allowed to continue they either are unable to fix it or are complicit and benefiting from it. Either is not good for the game.
I have never done anything illegal in any game, and I never will. Whenever I want to buy boss materials, the characters of the people I buy from are always level 1 and console players, as in previous seasons. I talked to a few of them and they confessed to doing this.I don’t know how it’s done, I only know where it’s done, and it’s through a method via the console. This situation is very uncomfortable for me. Today I wanted to buy an item and they asked for 300 royal gems + 100b. This is really disturbing
Then the best thing you can do, is to report these people.
Call them out, at best with evidence of ingame chat.
I’m doing this, but it’s really starting to bore me. I’m a normal player, how can I farm 300 Royal gems and 100 billion gold? We’re in season 7 and there’s still no solution to this situation. What is Blizzard doing right now? NOTHING
This is the 3rd time I’ve typed this question this morning… so lets see if we get a response here.
Is there any difinitive evidence that duping exists? Any at all? Videos? Videos or it didn’t happen.
I’m calling BS on it… and I was around in 1997 on the first Diablo when duping DID exist because I saw it done with my own eyes.
D4? Haven’t seen it yet. All I’ve seen is people crying about their lack of luck with loot drops therefore all the uber items that others have MUST BE DUPED! THERE’S NO OTHER EXPLANATION!
I’ve seen uber items drop. S6 Duriel dropped a 4GA BLT with PERFECT stats… and I sold it for 50B.
This morning for my necro I got the 4GA blood wave pants from Zir ON THE FIRST KILL. It was a whisper so I’m like “Ok I’ll do this real quick” and got lucky af. Huge upgrade over my 2GA pants I was wearing.
The stats weren’t perfect (9.25 of 10 on the bonus) but they were still a huge upgrade… AND WEREN’T DUPED.
Point being… someone show me some actual evidence that duping is this widespread issue in D4. I’ve seen nothing but tears of people crying about loot with claims that their lack of luck must mean that I duped my 4GA items.
Show me something.
You can target farm every material in this game. Make Tree whispers, get the gem cache and you recive a good amount. Money with whispers is not a problem at all.
And if you run headhunts and helltides, there should really no need for buying boss summoning mats.
By the way, there is a boss summoning material tribute in the undercity.
Short, you can easily (i would say) farm everything you need or want in this game. Maybe exception are the Greater Affi item but here is is the law of great numbers.
Play the game “more” and you get your stuff.
Because there’s no UNIQUES in D4…
That’s why there’s dupes, triples, quadruples, quintuples…
Dupe has almost become a buzzword with no value. I’ve so often seen it used without any clue to it’s origins or meaning, just as an umbrella term for something people don’t like others using in games and don’t understand themselves.
Much like how people often equate modding with hacking and cheating, even in single player games.
Why does it always have to be a thread about dupes in these forums…,
BACause it’s fun to DUPE threads in this forums…
After all its a D4 forum…
Since my post got flagged as inappropriate, I’ll remove my offensive term from it.
If a dude selling 3000 Bac runes isn’t evidence of duping then idk what is.
“People” were selling thousands of duriel sets on day 2. It is literally impossible to acquire that many in such a short time.
3000 people getting the same drop is still 3000 items that can be sold by one dude. These chinese game farmers employ thousands I hear.
At any rate… it’s a debate that will go on forever.
Seems to be a marketing thing.
The better question - why do you feel you need 300 Royal Gems and 100 billion gold?
Dunno what a Bac rune is, but if you are claiming duplication, show me the receipts.
