Why is it faster to start than game than to leave?
Like whats it doing for 10 seconds after i click the button to exit game?
Saving a bunch or something?
I noticed this tonight. And after, some program tells me how many FPS my game was last recorded at and every game i play except D4 does this instantly. D4 takes quite a while to fully terminate.
Maybe its a full disconnection from the server/safeguard? Dunno…

My guess is it’s a lag thing. Sometimes the game closes instantly for me - other times it just sits there frozen.

If you play for more than 5 minutes and then exit without buying anything from the shop the game takes a snapshot of your activity.
It then fowards this telemetric data to the brainiacs at Blizz HQ to figure out how they can incetevize you to purchase items from the shop. Eventually, you will be required to pay to exit the game or else it will run forever on your computer.
