dude if you dont like pvp cool dont pvp…why do ppl say stuff like oh who cares about pvp…im not asking for them to fix pvp…im asking for them to fix immortal barb…it should not be int he game at all…just cause u dont like pvp doesnt mean others dont…u dont have to pvp…dont tell others how to enjoy a game bro

It’s not just about PvP; it’s also about PvE. For example, a Barbarian can achieve over 100% damage reduction against elites, which can include bosses and ubers, making this extremely important. Similarly, the Sorcerer’s Flame Shield requires significant gear to be effective. So, don’t focus solely on PvP.

you are correct they should fix it. there should be nothing immortal running around in the pvp zone. very disappointing that blizzard allows it honestly

It does, especially on a Thorns build since a portion of all that HP is converted into additional Thorns.
No joke saw a screen on Reddit of a Barb with 620k Life on his Thorns build like how TF do you even die?
They can die to wind sheer druids.

Its a new problem introduced from tempering. Request it to be changed. PvP should be another individual category of damage source, not treated as elite.
Martial DR is addictive on its own and can reach 100% DR, Wujido has explained this in his video below:

the problem with Martial DR in PVP is … in Blizzard’s patch a few months ago, they stated that in PVP, players are not consider ‘Elites’, unless they become Hatred’s Chosen. They did not program it accordingly.

Yeah any of the arguments for or against this were also used for flameshield sorc.
Remove the stack, increase every single barb cooldown by 3-4 seconds, and put heavy caps (40%-75% of what well built specs were getting in S4) on all barb paragon nodes this instant or riot.
Its what they did to sorc, but they actually play barb so. They wont do it. Cant touch the favorite.

There is no cap on DR or in PvP. I think the 85% you are thinking of is Physical Resistance DR provided by reaching the armor cap.
While druid Bear form (which should have more DR or Life) cant even reach half of that with some low damage…
Blizzard need to stop hear Rob (streamer)… the last campfire was clear to me devs listen to streammers to change their game (look at the tempering thing with GA, was rob dumb sugestion).
The PVP Zone screams laziness. Where is the arenas.
Why can we not fight, and have others line up and wait, CALLED KING OF THE MOUNTAIN…
If you get to ten wins, you get kicked off and earn a prize.
Instead, PVP is just lame…
PVP has been a joke since launch tbh and it was easy to see coming. Something shoehorned-in to appease players who just feel like IT HAS to be in the game. Then they realize it obviously can’t be balanced across all the classes and class builds needed to also be tuned for eternal/seasons. Duh. We’re in love with idea more than the reality of its infeasibility.
All that said, this issue sucks and I couldn’t be happier to have farmed all the PVP shards for all the cosmetics I wanted back when the game was absolutely barren of other players for a long stretch. The PVP zones were just regular zones for awhile. Wonderful!
