This forum is full of children. Why do 90% of you care so much about an item PRE SEASON??? In 13 days who is going to keep playing their eTerNal character?
These are “Uber Uniques” chase items. As with all chase items, most people will NEVER get one. So im going to suggest a new way to look at these items for the casuals
These “Uber Uniques” are not intended to be farmed for (if someone hates themselves they can farm them). They’re not even really intended to be found. It’s more like “Hey look you found one of the most rare items in the game. Feel free to equip it if you’d like. Congrats”.
Just keep playing. Keep grinding. Keep perfecting your builds until seasons come. Maybe you’ll be lucky and get one during a future season. Maybe you won’t. It doesn’t matter. Most builds will be amazing without it.

Probably because they’re among the best items in the game.
Because I’m done grinding? I’m literally 100 with near BIS gear. It’s nice to have something to actually increase +skills.
I’ve said this many times. The loot is out of sync with progression. It should be designed for invididuals to see these “uber uniques” by the time you’re 80.
They’ve taken the worst aspects of d2 & d3 and combined them in the worst ways.
Here is what I mean… D2 – the hunt starts in NIGHTMARE (wt3), but 99 is not attained by most (and if you did… you’ve found or traded for the gear you need). D3 – the hunt starts at the end, but you only spent 1-10 hourss getting there & you’re off to the races.
We got an attainable goal (D4 Lv100) w/o any of the real reward along the way… the “FUN” items.
Whatever cheater. No one cares.
Not gonna matter when seasons start. Youre never going to touch your eternal realms character(s) again

and youre not going to go back to your eternal character once seasons start. i feel bad for anyone who used their luck and got a shako in the least meaningful pre season with no leaderboard

Why would I not go back to my Eternal character? It’s fun to play a Barb at 100. Do you think I should ONLY level barbs on ladder? That’s just silly. My S1 will be different than my S0 Eternal character.

The only weird thing is there’s so many people defending the people that got their unobtainable items from a bug and condemning everyone else that’s justifiably annoyed by it.
Like if anyone should wonder why someone else cares about something, it’s why do YOU care that other people are annoyed by something that they should be annoyed by? Don’t make a thread about the shako stuff if you don’t care about others having it, but you having a problem with how others feel about it is dumb af, your apathy doesn’t make you a cool kid and no, not everyone should be just as apathetic as you are.

I think of the situation like a school test question that was misleading or inaccurate. What does the teacher do? They remove the question from the overall test or award everyone credit for that question in fairness. Easiest and most neutral thing to do here is remove the items, especially if the count is truly so small. Why? Because the system and the company reputation is what takes the hit. Their current actions tell us, CHEAT/EXPLOIT, it doesnt matter and either does our TOS. Get all you can before we reverse or catch on and it encourages streamers/youtubers to jump into more exploit vids and content. This is not a good look on the long term reputation.

maybe you’ve never played an arpg with season, but idk anyone who goes back and plays their original character during a season. There is never not a season going on so there is never a reason to go back
i doubt it, its people seeing someone get something and wanting the same thing just to have it because how dare someone else get it and they dont get it.
its literally the toddler at the store that doesnt even like chewing gum but is throwing a temper tantrum because some other kid has chewing gum and he doesnt. its that exact situation.
