I’ve typically not spent much time in the Fields of Hatred because I’m not into PVP. And I get it that some people are. But today I figured I should give it a shot. I spent almost an hour there. First off, why do they force you to manually pick up the “Seeds of Hatred”? You don’t have to pick up gold or Aberrant Cinders. But those seeds, you have to run around clicking them. Why? They don’t take up extra space, do they?
BTW: All the time I was wandering around there (again, almost an hour) I saw one single other player. That was it. Just one guy. Wow.
Because (I think) anyone can pick them up and you’re meant to fight/race over them. The reality (in hardcore at least) is that there is almost no one else there so it’s just a pointless tedium.
Because they drop for all players and it’s first in first served
As an example, you could kill the wandering boss, and I’ll run in and nab all those seeds you spend time killing the boss for.
Or you could run over while I’m mob killing, and steal seeds.
Or a player could nuke you, and someone else runs in, nukes them, then takes the seeds.
Nah you’re right, these responses don’t add up. The “first” there is the person closest to them. Sometimes I go around clearing hordes before I run into a player and stopping to grab every 50 seeds drop is tidious.
